During 2 entire days, the hot water wasn't working, and the hotel management didn't offer anything to compensate. Even somewhere to have a proper shower. My wife and I had to use a kettle to warm some water and have a "shower" with a cup. Building under renovation, noises during the whole day, lifts take forever to arrive.
Breakfast is always a mess, missing staff, food is delayed etc.
Some receptionists are completely rude, and lack communication.
A huge thanks to Larissa, who tried her best to help us during this shit stay. She was polite and was always guiding us correctly on what to do.
At the bottom line, not worth it. There are other hotels for the same price with better experiences.

The hotel has comfortable rooms, a good breakfast and good cleanliness.
Location close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and bakeries, as well as easy access to public transport and by car.
The only bad thing was during the check out when I requested a late checkout. The employee didn't show the slightest interest in helping or offering a solution, which would of course be paid for.

Had a great time, the room was large and with a balcony. It would have been good if they had couple of chairs on the balcony. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great. The hotel is close to Paulista and great restaurants near by and venues within a short taxi drive.

Mercure hotels in Brazil are old and outdated, but this one wins as the worst one. They are rebuilding part of the hotel, so the gym and pool are not available. Very noisy place. Staff are rude and can't guarantee any benefit to Gold members. Avoid this hotel, it's horrible, very far of a four stars hotel

I stay in hotels about 80 nights a year on business trips globally, but this hotel was the worst stay of my life. The reason was that I was charged twice without permission, and the customer service desk at the hotel did not take any action to resolve the issue.
