Ace Motel

Very nice motel and location

Room and bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable. Check in was pleasant. There's a very good restaurant across the street. There's a fair bit of traffic noise in the morning.

The place is spotless. The kitchen was a very nice surprise and handy.. very comfortable

There was a boil water advisory in place for some time now but no notification was given prior to arrival. Drinking water was only available through purchase and not supplied to mitigate the problem. The staff was busy placing a tarpaulin on the roof of one of the second floors. Evidently there was a roof leaking. The internet Wifi was extremely slow and did not support video calls. These were the shortcomings of the property. On the positive side the rooms were renovated and ver clean. The furniture was modern and comfortable . The bed linen and bed was modern and I slept very well. The bathroom was retiled and refurbished to modern standards. Overall a good stay but I wished the owners would have been more forthright about the problems they were facing and have been more aiding to the client.

Pricey; poor value. Small room. 2 queen beds occupy most of the floor space. Limited access to electrical outlets for using and charging devices. Insufficient parking. Mattresses old and worn. Overall not a comfortable stay. Left a day early on a prepaid 4 night stay.

Wonderful little spot and scores nicer than many of the other motels and hotels I’ve visited in Princeton. Would not hesitate to book again!

Not the Taj Mahal but clean, good bed and nice bedding.

The exterior of this property is very run down. There was no where to park and I had to park across the street, which turned out fine and felt safe enough, but difficult for unloading. Paint is needing updating, flower pots were dead after along hot summer. Surprisingly, the room was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in! Spacious, nice towels, great linens. The bathroom well-appointed, and the bed comfy. There was a water advisory in the entire town of Princeton which was inconvenient and difficult for businesses. When I asked about complimentary water for the rooms, she offered to sell me small bottles of water for $1.50 each and sent me to the gas station for ice. At the very least, a few water bottles should be complimentary for every room as a simple courtesy. I usually drink tap water without hesitation, and I had nothing to drink as it was too late to walk to a gas station. Not a huge deal, but a simple fix. I loved the room, and ignored the exterior. Polite front desk staff which I appreciate after a long drive.

Although when you pull up to the motel you think it is pretty average, when you get to your room it is all redone and very clean. Staff were very nice at the front desk. Short 2 min walk to Coffee Beanz in the morning for a coffee and muffin

Very clean, great location for one night, but if you would like to stay longer - great hikes around. City is small and one day to explore is anought!

Older motel that suited our needs

The room was very clean and fine for an overnight stop during a roadtrip. Our only concern was when we called the motel office at 10 pm to complain about a group of noisy guests no one was available to take our call or deal with the issue.

The Ace Motel is my new favourite place to stop on my way from Victoria to Nelson. Thanks for having this clean & comfy spot to stop midway! The staff have all been a delight to interact with, too.
