Banff International Hostel

All good.

Beds are not comfortable.

Felt safe as a solo woman traveler.

Clean room. Easy check in/out. Friendly staff

Place is dirty and smelly. The attendents are tricky. Worst hotel I have been.

The 3 days we were there, we had ONE breakfast because all they served was cereal & toasted bread. No protein or other nutritious options. The rooms were old and dirty. The towels were smelly. TV does not work. The heater was ON the entire time and we cannot control it. Worst place I ever stayed at

Property is hostel standard, clean and functional. But $400 for a 4 person/ bunkbed room in september is too exprnsive. The new banff ! Little kitchen with cute eating area.

The room was not cleaned as i cam see lot of dust on the i side doormat. The place looks like a rundown place. The only plus point is the location. Proximity to downtown banff and the dining options

Hotel staff opened the door of my private room at 2am and didn’t explain until I called the front desk. It was terrifying and unprofessional

There’s no ac and the room was hot. You couldn’t open all two windows- one for safety reasons and the other was the road noise. Able to open the small window in the bathroom but wasn’t able to cool off the room. I had issues sleeping due to heat - kept waking up. Lots to do around the hostel from shopping dining and entertainment. Buses are within walking distance. Comfortable bed and privacy curtains.

Friendly staff but did not enjoy the room much as it is warm, doesn't have air condition, not well clean, unsafe wirings and very loud fan. Breakfast is available but we did not expect that it is a make your own breakfast. The hostel needs to level up considering their high cost, it is not worth the money at all. Wouldn't recommend, sorry.

My first check in with the aussie dude desk attendant and girl was awesome. His relief was impolite and when I asked to be switched from a dirty mixed room to a clean women’s there was an issue at first. Not really accommodating, and I’ve lived in some hostel dives in Australia. Wouldn’t stay again but the ppl I met were awesome and some of the workers are solid. Cheers!

Poor cleanliness. The towels are smelly, seems just washed them without detergents.

Great place to stay and meet people from all over the world!

Very very hot that I couldn’t sleep many nights in a row !! Not very clean! Bed sheets were dirty! But also other people didn’t much care about cleanness as they would through their hair in sink causing blockage. The staff and manager were good and attentive! But overall I had an uncomfortable stay.
