Best Western Plus Winkler

Nice hotel but I hate when they put vinyl plank in the rooms. It makes the space cold and loud. Could hear everything in the halls and above us well into the evening. Nice breakfast with good coffee and a great pool area to unwind in before leaving.

We liked the hotel it was new and was designed really nicely! The continental breakfast was good, unfortunately when we got there around 630-7 there wasn’t a lot put out yet. We enjoyed the coffee machine there, lots of different options instead of just your regular brewed coffee. The pool was not too bad, on the smaller side and with us being there for New Year’s Eve. Another issue with it being that day is the noise, walls seem to be very thin and noising from above as well. The room we had was great with a full kitchen, definitely recommend for someone with a family!

Really clean. Impressive. Super spacious rooms, were generous with the design. Has everything you need. Comfy pillows. Luxury Towels. Pool was fun, not too cold, I actually got in. The waterslide was so fast, wasn't expecting that... overall, great stay.

We picked this hotel based on the location to the hospital. Had major surgery at the hospital. I called ahead to the hotel and asked for a ground floor room. They gave me a terrific room. The only thing better than the room was the breakfast. Although it was standard hotel breakfast food, the person making it was so warm and friendly. I’d come back here next weekend. But I’d rather avoid another surgery. :)

Front desk clerk was so professional and wasn't overwhelmed working alone with a line up of guests checking in at one time. The hotel is brand new, very clean and stylish. The bed was comfortable and the whole hotel and room smelled really good. The products in the bathroom were natural with a wonderful lemon scent. Hotel was close to lots of food establishments. Lovely green space to let the dog use the bathroom. The downfall of the hotel...the toilet is sized for a little person (your knees are in your chest when you sit) and the height of the sink is for a giant (I'm 5'4) and the counter top was level with my chest, I could barely reach the tap and spit after brushing my teeth. There was either no lightbulb in the lamps, or burnt out/flickering, room echo's without carpeting whenever another guests walked above us or flushed the toilet, freaking my dog out all night which didn't allow us to sleep. Overall the hotel is nice and I would stay again if they could fix their bathroom situation. Husband inquired about the bathroom issue at the front desk when checking out, they told him it was a design mistake and they cannot improve it until the hotel starts profiting and offer a stool for the sink...unreal.

The property is well maintained. The gentleman who checked us in was pleasant and knowledgeable. We had a great nights rest in a safe and relaxing environment. Breakfast the next morning was very good. We would definitely stay at this location again!

Great stay. I can’t say enough about Helen; she runs the breakfast area and we Can honestly say it’s the best hotel breakfast we have ever had. We were just passing through and happened to stay for the night, and we we so glad we did!

There were 7 people waiting to check in with no staff around. Waited over 10 minutes before someone showed up to check me in and I was the first of the 7 to be checked in.
