Arrived much later than we expected but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and we got a good night’s rest. Room was clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

I stay here for one night. I was driving from Nova Scotia to Toronto. I was tired and needed to get some sleep. I booked online and arrived at the hotel in the evening probably 7:00p.m. I'm an elderly person. When I got there the hotel was full of little ones running around the place. In out of hotel rooms people hanging out in the hallway. A full blown party. I am guessing there was a tournament close by. But the noise was until 12:00 a.m. I barely had any sleep. I advised hotel staff all I got was an apology. Thanks for nothing

Bedbugs! Bedbugs! Bedbugs!
Stay away from this place! The room was dirty and had an overwhelming peppermint smell. Little did I know at the time, that some people think this is a deterrent for bedbugs. If only I had known then, I would’ve hightailed it outta there.
Long story short…. I’m COVERED in bites and hoping desperately I didn’t bring any of those critters home. When I called the hotel to complain, I found out, that not only are they aware of the issue, they also don’t care about it! If I could give this place zero stars, I would!
I have stayed at other Comfort Inns quite a few times and they are usually very clean. Thumbs down for Cornwall!

We've stayed in this hotel several times in past and booked directly through Choice Hotels since the rates have always been better than other booking agencies and every stay worked toward points accumulation. In this case The best rate by far was through hotels.com but Comfort Inn would not award points. Or Comfort Inn hides the points awarded in higher prices through their Web Booking site .
We also require a pet friendly hotel however determine which rooms are pet friendly and rates are virtually impossible. Despite putting in the pet requirement in the special request section, hotel staff neglected to read that until check-in time.
Enhancing the booking process to allow selection and location of pet friendly rooms along with available bed sizes and the pet charges up front at booking would make the experience much better.

I liked the Gym and the pool hpowever the shower was not working well (not easy to get hot water)
Staff were very kind but the magnetic cards were always not working well and we had to visit the reception so often.
