Comfort Inn Port Hope

Check in was challenging the front desk wasnt the most helpful and the drapes wouldnt close so hard to sleep with blarring light in room

Honestly, the room was clean and the staff was extremely courteous. The only thing I found was that the bed/mattress seemed to be tilted so that the head was lower than the feet. I was so tired that I didn’t even have the energy to switch my head and feet to see if that was truly an issue (but I’m pretty sure it was…).

Could not control the heat, had to open window to make it bearable. Mouse droppings found on my cell phone and night stand when awoke...

The entire building smells of stale cigarettes. There was a strange smell in the room itself and something making my eyes itch and water within minutes of entering it. The beds were old and uncomfortable and next to no water pressure in the shower. Would never book at this hotel again.

Hotel is a little dated, but clean. Staff were great.

Beyond worn room. Customer service was non existent. We have stayed here multiple times due to convenience and location. Hotel was almost empty yet front desk would not accommodate switching rooms. Our converter was tapped without a back. Room was dusty and dirty. There were no hot components to breakfast. Tv was so fuzzy. As usual, ice machine on our floor was non functional.

Solid option for an overnight while driving.

Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The room was stuffy not very clean. There wasn’t a curtain to close just sheers, bathroom sink needs replacing was all cracked and the drain was full of hair. The hot water did not get very hot. I would give a 3 for over all stay.

check in was not great. She charged my credit card withouth asking how I am going to pay, and ended up creating an inconvenience for me. The room was very old, with bathroom roof paint peeling off. The furniture had dust. The heater was blasted off high and was so hot when we arrived. It was also difficult to control the thermostart because it is old. Please rennovate the hotel rooms to morden standards. The breakfast was normal.

Definitely needs an renovation but it’s clean and the staff are awesome

The staff is very friendly and considerate. They were very helpful to me. The only thing is that the hotel is under repair so some things are completely done with the room

Dirty worn out carpeting. Unfinished work on the hallway walls. Hockey tournament's going on. The kids ran up and down hallways screaming and banging on doors, running away. Excessively loud most of night.

Television shows very limited and TV not working well

Excellent Location everything you need food wise is right there.

It was ok, not the greatest rooms but staff Was kind and friendly
