Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello

We booked on our return home for a night. Ended up waiting for an hour for the room and the place was packed with nowhere to sit and really not a clean place. I can see where the attraction would be for families.

The bartender was incredibly cheerful and attentive, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. We had an excellent time sitting at the bar, enjoying his great mood and flawless service. Furthermore, the on-site massage service was particularly relaxing, providing a highly enjoyable experience that allowed us to fully unwind. Now, let’s talk about the negative experiences: Unfortunately, the price does not reflect the quality of the overall experience: Exorbitant prices: At $594 per night for a room without breakfast included, it is excessive. The continental buffet at $86 for two was disappointing and very ordinary. Room comfort: For the price, the room lacked charm and maintenance. The window insulation was poor, resulting in significant heat loss. We had booked a "deluxe" room, but it did not match the description or our expectations at all. Poor dinner service: The attitude of our server during dinner was dreadful—unpleasant demeanor, curt tone, and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. We felt neglected compared to other tables with larger groups. Billing errors: We were charged for meals and drinks we never ordered, which further worse

We spent our Thanksgiving here, and it was absolutely lovely. Beautifully decorated, warm, welcoming and attentive staff, be sure to go downtown and enjoy the food and Park Omega. Huge hit with the kids.

A great short stay.

"The biggest log cabin in the world" is a place that creates lifelong memories. It's Disney's Wilderness Lodge without hordes of kids (although it does sometimes feature some conventioneers), and is the perfect place to write your Christmas cards (in front of the six-sided, floor-to-very-high-ceiling, stone fireplace). There are quiet places to sit and read on every level of the lobby, some with views out to the falling snow. Mostly terrific staff, with a real flair for hospitality and guiding you round the extensive breakfast buffet.

You could not drink the water..no notice until next morning after check in. Very dingy looking inside. Only one robe in room… had to ask for second. Tiles coming off hot tub. Poor experience for the price we paid. We have travellled extensively and would not recommend this experience to anyone!

Amazing experience and service

way run down, tub did not drain, carpets really old in rooms and hallway and do t lay flat, no fan in bathroom

Upon arrival, we had a pleasant checkin. Our Queen room on the 4th floor and was nicely presented and comfortable. We had all our meals in the dining room and were very pleased with the selection and excellence in service. We used the gym and pool which met our expectations. The nicely kept grounds go on and on and we enjoyed our outings each day.
