Great place. The only suggestion is the room. The shower was plugged a bit and there wasn’t a lot of pressure coming out of the shower nozzle other than that is really really nice.

Thermostat did not work. Furnace would run constantly even when turned off completely somehow kept running. Tried to set thermostat to 17, first day temp stayed at 21 second day 22 and the last night was 27.5 degrees. Both wall thermostat and radiator heater would not adjust. Felt like a sauna.

Easy place to find. Not far from gas stations and restaurants. Particularly easy to get to if travelling on Trans Canada.
The carpet in the hallways has lifted, making it difficult to push/pull luggage. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet.

I was surprised at how much the hotel was in disrepair. As soon as I walked in the front lobby I noticed so many spots where the drywall was falling off the walls and ceilings from water damage. Several places had frayed carpet that was also "wavy" from it lifting off the floor (tripping hazard). The desk in the room had some sort of epoxy or glue smeared on the top. I never expected this from a Hampton Inn! The bed and bathroom were clean.
