Property need to work on front desk personnel

The place was very nice, the staff was fine...what stood out to me was how we needed an extra bag of tea when my friend was sick and needed some...the receptionist courteously provided us with extra ones, meant a lot to me :-)

Neat and quirky hotel without being so odd that it gets in the way of being an actual hotel.

Always stay here great property for the value

Helpful staff, convenient location, comfy beds and linens, free parking these were the good aspects of the hotel. Grateful to them for a free upgrade from our 2 queen bed to a spacious suite with kitchen. Really enjoyed that! But the wifi connection was very weak and spotty. The rooms are dated. Needs improvement and minor repairs in the rooms. Overall, our stay was pleasant despite the cons.

Location is awesome.

Clean, modern and affordable place to spend a couple of days. Close to the subway (Metro) to get downtown quickly. Late night revellers were noisy but fortunately didn't last long.

The room was not prepared. Can you image how shocking it was. Imagine that you are tired from the trip and want to lie down asap, then when you open the room door, there was a mess left from previous guests. Then you have to go back all the way to the reception and wait for your turn to talk to the receptionist… This is the second time this happened to me….

It was exactly as expected. It's a busy, older property, but the sheets were clean, the water pressure was good, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

It was a good place, the pool was seasonal and sauna was not working, only good thing was gym, their main elevators were not working, had to find out our room by ourselves, hotel was confusing.

The furniture was amazing, the mattress perfect.

The check-in is at 4pm. We arrived at 5:20 pm. The rooms we booked weren’t ready and the receptionist told me to wait 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still no room. She told me another ten minutes. We waited a total of 45 minutes in the lobby and our rooms were still not ready but we had to leave for a supper reservation. When we came back around 11:00 pm, the new receptionist didn’t understand what was going on. He didn’t believe me that we check in because we didn’t have the keys for the rooms, so we had to check in again and wait again… I asked if the rooms were finally ready he answered arrogantly that I will have to go up and check for myself because he doesn’t know. So, in summary client service was bad, unfriendly, arrogant, no apology. At least the rooms were decent and comfy. The beds were hard (which personally I like. The furniture and walls have some wear and tear but in general pretty. The breakfast restaurant that was right beside the hotel is now closed, but there a few options a bit further. There is a subway station only 5 minutes away on foot. Parking is included in the room fee so this is great.

We did a staycation for the weekend , from the pervious reviews seem like a good place to stay they have a heated pool ,sauna , ice rink ,spa ,free parking. When we stayed the pool wasn’t open , which was confusing because on there site it said it was heated , so I thought it would be open during the winter. There was plenty of restaurants around the area, we thought they had their own restaurant but they said it was closed down. Ice rink was not open , was full of snow. You would think it would be open if it’s on there site. For the spa you need to call ahead , but they our only available for 9am to 4pm ,so if your just staying the night you won’t have time or you might be able to arrange an appointment before your check in. Sauna was open , it 24hour. Free parking was great to have. Room was good, bed was comfortable, tv was up to date flatscreen,windows were large for good sunlight and for bedtime you were able to close them to be dark. Bathroom was updated they have plenty of soap,hair products by ONEKA. You can book on website or you can find some deals on hotel sites.
