Valet parking was very convenient. Check in was quick and easy. Both the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The lighting in our room was excellent. I love a room with multiple bright lighting options.
Check out was also quick and easy. Looking forward to our next visit to Ottawa and the Lord Elgin Hotel.

The lord Elgin was very well kept, the staff were friendly and greeted us promptly. I have to say the valet staff were exceptional.
Location is very close to a lot of amenities and venues.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location. We came here to celebrate my birthday and skate on the Rideau canal. The canal is only a 2 minute walk. Great restaurants nearby. We had a great stay.

Great area, walkable to the ByWard market, Parliament Hill, and the Rideau Canal for skating. Friendly staff, and the room was nice and clean. A couple areas in the hotel could use a refresh, but it has it's charm nonetheless. There's only valet parking offered, but there is an underground lot across the street. Would also prefer if the room had a safe.

The room was basic but nice with a king bed. Great location. I found a few things disappointing: No fan in the washroom. The remote was on the floor under the bed between the nightstand (we had to look for it). There was some garbage in the nightstand. Also, with booking through Expedia, parking was an additional cost. That was unexpected.

Decent hotel and room. For extended stays however the restaurant has really gone downhill. Bad breakfast / pub food for dinner. Would not return if im in for more than a night.

Location was perfect! Ask for the street side view: Confederation Park is a nice view. We loved thst most areas we wanted to visit were in walking distance (we're willing to walk 2 miles or more). We were there over winter snd found Ottawa to have wonderful holiday lighting allover. We plan to return. We dif order salads at the Lord Elgin restaurant and were a little disappointed. Otherwise, i would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel. Their exercise area is decent, too!
