There was a consistent banging sound maybe every 30 minutes late at night. Otherwise quiet and in a good location off exit 0

This is a good place to have a sleep and explore Halifax by car. It's in an inconvenient location - not close to anything, but has the basics and is quiet. Staff are polite and the contiental breakfast will get you through until lunch.

Reasonable value for the money. Continental breakfast was acceptable. A bit noisy from the heating system pipes

It's not fancy and visually appealing but good staff and great with information and cost is great for area

Cable didn’t work, dirt and things on the “clean towels, overall not clean

Breakfast was terrible food was not covered and and the bread was stale, coffee cream was expired, coffee was like days old, no control on heat was on 29 the whole night. They do not even provide water, waste of money

Nice place to stay if you’re looking for something cheep. Wifi doesn’t always work, customer service was not helpful and the lock on the door was awful.

Nice place but even with the AC on full blast it was way too warm and uncomfortable

Room was not clean, we found 1 false eyelash in the drawer, dirty chair, etc. Air did not work well, bed was uncomfortable. Staff were nice.

Everything is good, room is clean, only the front desk service is not really hospitable.

the pictures on their website are nothing like what the property actually looks like. no lighting outside the door to room. the light switch for the room is behind the door on the far right wall, had to step into a pitch black room. the switch to the bathroom is behind the door on an outside wall. the dresser drawers would not stay closed. the shampoo bottles were refillable, did not want to share with strangers

No heat in the room, it was 70 when we arrived, but the door was not sealed properly and cold was coming right in the room form outside, and the bed was 3 feet away from the door, there was a broken down truck literally 2 feet away from the outside door, hard top bring in our luggage. When I asked the front desk if the heat was on since I turned up the heat but nothing happened , I was told it would take 20-30 minutes for the heat to start, we woke up the next morning and it was 66 in the room, heat never turned on, they control it form inside. Run down hotel, the remodeled the washroom, but it was not great. Not that I expected much form a $100 room, but we only needed a place to crash for like 10 hours. Never again, I'll pay the extra $150 to stay at the holiday in.

When I drove up I immediately had suspicions about the facility as some rather scruffy looking characters were standing outside the ground level units, wearing fake Jordan 1’s (no swoosh) and piss stained track pants. I had instant regret wash over me. I was a little early and not offered accommodation to store my bags until check in and while I sat in the lobby I could help but notice how unkempt and shabby the kitchenette was. It feels like they’re barely trying. The two women working at that moment were nice enough, but I decided to but my bags back in my trunk and go for a run. When I returned a few hours later to check in things took a strange turn. I sat in the lobby and waited for someone, anyone to come to the front desk and then once the woman working the front counter got to the counter, she rather than being accommodating or understanding about my confusion over the added requirement for a deposit (on top of the fee I already paid through the third party [Expedia]) she rather coldly just looked at me and said well you can just cancel and go somewhere else. And then when I had follow up questions about the return time of the deposit, and her sour attitude persisted. I’ve worked in customer service for 20 years and if I ever spoke to anyone with that tone I would have been taken in the back and given a warning about my job security. I will in fact be going somewhere else next time I am in Halifax.

They should include sport station where we can watch premiership and other European football.
