This is a decent hotel for what you pay. The pool is the best part and the staff was very friendly, especially our breakfast gal!!

Amazing experience! Staff was nice and informative. Love the fact it has early and free breakfast with the price and the pool and gym was a great bonus

The Super 8 in Slave Lake is an o.k. establishment with a few quirks. The breakfast is definitely not something to write home about, it's a pretty standard continental but I would put it on the lower end of quality and selection.
The Gym was a bit odd - you had to go to the front desk to get a specific access card for it and sign in/out of it. Not sure what the story is behind that. Outside of that had mid-level equipment (Bike, Elliptical, Tread) and a bench. Missing lots of weights in their rack.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the facility is just a bit shabby.

Old hotel in need of many updates. Toilet did not flush, TV did not work. There was food on the walls that just had not been cleaned. The kids loved the pool and the bed was comfortable. Took a long time for checkin. There was no staff present for approx 10 mins. Would not stay here again.

The room was ok, there was a nasty spill that had dried in the fridge and was left. The breakfast was terrible. The saving grace for this place was the pool and the front desk lady both were great

The furniture in the room was disgustingly dirty .. the couch and chair both had numerous stains. The breakfast included was lousy .. very little choices and the pancakes were close to not edible. I stayed one night only because I could find other accommodations.

Room smelled like cigarettes. In the plus side, the beds were comfy and clean.
We booked because of the pool but the pool is disappointing. No hot tub and entire pool is too deep for young children.
Room was way over priced for what you get.
