The staff was excellent. The suite had everything you needed. Breakfast was amazing...there was also food you could take for lunch. Restaurants were near by. Great area to walk around. Planned on just staying one night...ended up staying for three. THANK YOU

Nice folks at the front desk, helpful with area sites. Good breakfast selections. We ate dinner in the neighborhood, plenty of options. Walkable to canal to skate and to Parliament building. Great deal, would stay again

It is almost like an apartment hotel. A bit old. This is at least our 4th or 5th time staying there in the last 35 years. I didn't expect much for the breakfast, because it was ordinary in the past. But we were pleasantly surprised that there were plently of food and specially the hot food like egg, sausage, ham, harsh brown etc. You can even pick up prepacked breakfast and leave. It was well thought out. The chef appeared proud of his production. It was a busy dinning room for sure. Highly recommended.

After booking with you, they charged me $25 per day to park. Would have been nice to know in advance. They wanted $100 security deposit that was promised to be returned. When I checked out , they could not give it back , because they claim they had not take it. So why take my credit card and punch it so many times?
Also at 9 am they began drilling on top floor, so could not sleep in as planned. Check out was 11am.
When I told lady at check out about noise at 11 , “when she asked how was everything?” She denied it was true, even how we could both hear bangin and drilling on the first floor. She said, “oh that just began 5 minutes ago” So I’m a liar.
When I left my hotel room, came out of elevator, I was met with constructive workers with masks , there was dust everywhere. Where was my mask? I had to walk through all the sandblasting holding my breath. Way to go!

I love that the room, the very simplest of rooms, had a nice set up with couch, kitchenette and classy bed. If felt like a mini home and that home was new and clean.

This hotel was perfect for our purposes. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the Byward Market which was a very pleasant walk and distance. We were able to detour past the front of the parliament buildings on the way back.
The only minor issue that I had was that the shower was not very warm when I used it at about 6am. (I had to be somewhere early that morning). My husband used the shower after 7:30am and it was fine. (Perhaps pipes close to outside wall? Ottawa is cold that early in the morning..). Thank you for a lovely stay. It will be our go-to hotel for any further trips to Ottawa. Your staff are lovely btw. Many thanks for their kindness.
