The Senator Hotel & Conference Centre Timmins

Due to the poor water quality had dirty brown water coming out of the washroom taps, we had to cut our stay short water was also ice cold. Although hotel was very nice decorated very well for the holidays.

The only need to improve is the internet connection, and make sure the quest have access fast and reliable internet.

The hotel smell so bad. The whole time its smells like dog poops even at the concierge and elevator. We have to move hotel because it is not clean. Hotel needs to sanitize carpets.

LONG READ, BUT DETAILED. STAY AWAY. I'll start by saying I've stayed at a lot of hotels for work, and personal reasons, but this one takes the cake for the worst. The pictures on the site are old, and taken at the perfect angles making the room look flawless. I'll start from the drive up, the hotel is dimly lit, the sign is barely lit up so it looks like an office building, there is no nice place to park so you can check in. No signs for where the parking garage, is so I just took a guess and found it. It is not secured and left wide open to anyone on the street. The check in desk is okay. Check in process was fairly easy and straightforward. The genetleman was okay, and not rude. The elevators have card access so you cam only get to your floor, which is a nice safety feature. One thing we noticed was the smell, all we smelled was cannabis and cigarettes in the elevator. Once we got to the floor we still smelled the strong smells. We went to our room and enetered, it appeared clean and nice. We looked at the bathroom and it looked like a saw movie. We checked the mattress for bedbugs and other stuff. My wife found what looked like an old blood stain at the head of the mattreess, I found a blood stain on the bed skirt. We left for dinner placing our bags on the table When we were leaving we saw 2 people hiding in the corner of the parking lot smoking something. We returned and checked out immediately DO NOT STAY HERE.

The person I spoke to before making a reservation told me there was no ‘bereavement rate’, no senior rate nor no CAA rate. I think she had no clue what these things were.
