The design and condition of property was excellent. It is part of EAC, Euro American Center. Breakdast buffet and swimming was excellent, with high end interior finishes for the apartment units. A place to choose in Hangzhou.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on a high floor. Well kept property, everything looks new and clean. Staff were attentive and polite. Downsides : Dryer was faulty but detergent was provided for washer. No laundry basket. Would be helpful if there is a towel rack in the spacious bathroom, the clothes hook behind the toilet door is too high for an average height female. Pillows were too flat and bed too firm.
Other than that, would love to return to stay

I love the Oakwood in Hangzhou. I rate it 5 of 5. I stay here on each of 10 visits. Great location, scores of restaurant in the Oakwood complex. 24 hour Family Mart. 24 hour fitness center. And the greatest king size bed that knocks you out. Many rooms are like big apartments. A nice reasonable restaurant in the hotel.

Staying at Oakwood Residence Hangzhou served our objective well. We were looking for a hotel that provides washer as we were traveling light. The area is pretty centralised, walkable to the famous West Lake, also have restaurants and convenient stores.

Stayed for 8 nights so far because of the location. BUT,
their rooms smell - since it's service apt, the cooking smells from your neighbors will stay exactly in your room forever. Rooms are old, the beds are peeled off.
Housekeeping don't do their jobs - your trash stay in where they were after the housekeeping and they never refill your toiletry.
Most importantly, their staff are incompetent. I see 3-4 young employees standing at the front desk doing nothing. When asked them for help, they looked at each other and don't know what they were doing. The back office staff were very unhelpful - when I had an issue and needed to talk to the front desk, they transferred my call 3 times and everytime when the phone was picked up by a different staff, they gave me inconsistent information. The problem remain unsolved after four international calls.

It was a good layout that enabled a family of 5 to have quality time in the living / dining area. The rooms were well laid out but I have to say the housekeeping staff was inconsistent in their quality of housekeeping practices. The apartment is in need of a refurbishment - signs of extreme wear and tear visible. Scratches and dents on the corners of the walls. Also, the cleanliness can be improved: shades of grey finger marks can be seen on the kitchen cabinet doors, drawer pulls and especially the door pull on the refrigerator. The privacy net curtains could also do with a good laundering! Carpets a thorough shampoo. The pillows are way too soft and the mattress way too firm!
