I haven’t quite finished my trip, but I am already thoroughly impressed. The staff here are very kind and funny, and work hard to ensure your trip is the best it can be. All the activities this resort offers are well thought- through, and entertaining. The property is large, and beautiful containing many tropical animals. I can near guarantee you will see a species here you have never seen before. Bosque offers a nature hike full of sights to see, a trip by boat through the coastal mangrove, on property zip lining, and much more. The communal dinners are a great opportunity to meet, and socialize with the neighboring families on the property. You can not only see, but taste how much effort the chefs put into their food, and how they change their menu for the guests daily. There is no aspect in which Bosque Del Cabo lets you down. Try it out for yourself!

There really aren't enough words to describe how much we love Bosque del Cabo. We have been visiting for almost 20 years and each trip is unique and amazing! This trip we brought our 12 year old son and is was truly something he will never forget. The abundance of wildlife is so incredible. We spotted toucans, 4 types of monkeys, scarlet macaws, coatis, agoutis, and so much more. The views of the ocean are so nice, we even saw whales and dolphins in the distance! The staff is so friendly and you really feel like they care, many have become friends for life. Be sure to do the night tours, ziplining, and order a famous Coco Loco from the bar. We had so much fun hiking and then relaxing in the pool. Such a perfect trip!

This is our second time to Bosque del Cabo, and we'd do again in a heartbeat. We traveled this time with a 12 and 10 year old, and the accommodations, activities, and food are great for everyone. The owners, Kim and Phil, have done a superb job of maintaining the rainforest, while promoting eco-tourism and sustainability. The food is amazing - period. Absolute culinary excellence. The chefs serve meals in a buffet style, with fish and meat at each meal, vegetables, rice, beans, tortillas, or pasta - whatever the theme may be - it is served with style, grace and class. The desserts are just delicious. And, unless you request to sit alone, your party is paired with other travelers, making dinner conversations lively and fun. The service is just above and beyond. Giancarlos, Glenda, Filipe, Hylene, Grevien, and Marliny were genuinely polite and responsive to all requests and conversations. They gave our kids the warmest hugs, making their first international experience hard to beat going forward. The rooms are sustainably outfitted, but classy. There are screens on the louver windows and doors, mosquito nets, and clean comfortable sheets. Our first room did not have a ceiling fan, which I think would be advisable for all the rooms. Our second place, Ylang, did have ample air movement and was just idea with an ocean breeze and open windows. For those who are jittery about bugs - please do your research and look at where you are going - this place is located in the middle of a rainforest, one of the most biodiverse places on earth. There are bugs - it's unavoidable - but Bosque does a good job of keeping them out of the house. Plus there are plenty of geckos doing pest control. Don't feed the wildlife. While you might think it is cute - it creates a real problem for the wildlife, hotel, and guests. The coatis seem to have linked humans with food, and at the time of our visit, were constantly breaking into the rooms through the screens. Again, it's all part of the experience and we were on their turf, but I can't help but think that someone started all of this with a hand out. If you're interested in surfing, we cannot recommend Kali enough - we are 100% Kali's biggest fans. Our son took lessons for his 13th birthday and stood up after about 3 pushes. "Best birthday ever!" according to our son. While we were there we saw spider and howler monkeys, coatis, peccaries, agoutis, an ant-eater, white-faced monkeys, fleur de lance snake (2 - 1 adult, 1 infant), large lizards at the beach, butterflies, toucans, macaws, spiders....it was just amazing. Do a night walk and the zip-line. The best place on earth. Period.

Bosque is a unique experience for those of us who absolutely love nature and wildlife, the ocean and magnificent views, and just slowing the pace down. This summer was my 6th visit to the OSA and each time I go back, it’s like I am back with family - catching up with the friendly team at Bosque, sharing laughs and family updates, taking in the ambiance, the surroundings and just being in the forest. I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday while there this year, and the Bosque team made it very special. It’s the 2nd time I actually have been for my birthday - I was also here for my 40th (a few years back…) and Phil (the owner at Bosque) loaned me a surfboard and took me for a surf that morning. He went absolutely above and beyond to make my day something spectacular! This is truly a special place - because of the views, the wildlife, the immersion in nature, the people (owners and staff) and the food. I would go back every month if I could.

Not many places out there like Bosque del Cabo!! I would start with the country road to get there ! It’s absolutely gorgeous. When you get to the lodge, you realize that you are in a unique magical place! The wild forest, the trails, the beaches, the huge trees that touch the sand ..it’s all so beautiful, so peaceful and at the same time so rich with nature's sounds.., the wind, the birds, monkeys, big cats (we did not see them but they are out there)!! Just amazing. Our cabin was beyond cozy, they all are special; magnificent, friendly staff, great food , you meet interesting people from all over the world! But it's not crowded at all -just the right amount of people. Also great surf 🏄‍♀️ Yes, we will get back with our four dachshunds!!! They loved it as much as we did!!!! The owners are focused on preserving nature the best they can and I admire that so much!! Cristina and Carl
