Hostel Casa del Sol

My stay at Casa del Sol was nothing short of amazing. The owners were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me during my time there. The accommodations were exceptional - comfortable, clean, beautifully decorated, and I always felt safe. The fact that breakfast was included for part of my stay was a lovely bonus. The lodge's location, just a 2-minute walk from the ocean, made it even more special. I stayed at Casa del Sol for about 1-2 months during my time in Santa Teresa, and I am so grateful to the owners for providing such a wonderful place to stay. I highly recommend Casa del Sol to anyone visiting Santa Teresa - you won't be disappointed!

Rooms were fine. We liked the veranda in front of it. Location is convenient, too. But pool had no water in it. Unfortunately bad service. Due to an incident we asked to postpone our stay a day later. The staff told us then that they would have said yes if we hadn’t booked via booking. So booking send them a request and then the hostel denied it?! After one day we just booked one more night (as we lost one day) and then afterwards the previous booking has changed, so we had two nights double even though there was only one room available! So that didn’t make sense at all.

We enjoyed our stay in a private room at Casa del Sol. Room was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are outgoing, there is plenty opportunity to meet other young travelers. It was nice that they had a bar and restaurant onsite. Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants/ cafes. Only complaint is the poor shower design. Since the shower had no door or curtain, water would get all over the bathroom floor.

A nice and clean hostel. The room was spacious with attached bathroom and toilet which was handy and clean. Hot showers was very welcome. The kitchen is very well equipped and new. Baskets to keep food was a nice touch. The owner Luis and staff were friendly. Highly recommended. 2-3 mind from the beach which is across the road. Booked 2 nights. Ended up staying 4 nights.

Casa Del Sol 🌞 What a blessing it was to stay here. Came with my boyfriend who turned into my fiancé on this trip. 🤍 We stayed at a private room and truly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, came equipped with all necessities, had nice cold a/c and the bed was very comfortable. There was an outdoor shower right outside of our room and we really made use of that, especially coming back from the beach. The beach was a 2 minute walk straight from the room which was really convenient. Casa del Sol is located right in the heart of this area. You have bars and restaurants to the left and right of you. Although you could go anywhere to eat- Casa del Sol also has a restaurant within (El Puerto) which is AMAZING. The food there was the best food we had our entire trip. Briana was really helpful picking out delicious plates for us. Overall a great stay and highly recommended! 10/10
