Amorgos Boutique Hotel

Good location, 30 metres from the beach. Good breakfast, kind staff, see view. Small hotel but there are all issues in the room.

Well, I have been there 3 years ago, but actually never shared my experience. Well, overall it was almost ok. However, on the reception there was this old Cyprus lady that was shouting at me and whenever I was asking her anything, she was always replying with "I don't understand your English" and "Your English is bad". Like, yes, English is not my native language, but I do speak it better than others and she herself had a terrible accent and always messed up the whole grammatics. Nevermind, the room was visibly ok, but giving it a closer look made me understand, it is a little bit untidy and messy. Also, some parts of furniture looked reaaaaally old or were slightly broken. As for the breakfast, it was tasty, there was quite a variety of nice food and the ladies (and I recall some men as well) serving us were very kind. I remember briefly communicating with some cleaning ladies and they were adorable. Also, there was this (Russian) lady (with a Russian name I can't recall but perhaps it began with 'O') and she was really helpful and sweet, she was something like a guide at this hotel. The location of the hotel was ok. Our view was better than other guests had, but still not perfect because too many tall buildings around the hotel.

I am currently in Larnaca hospital and I made a booking for this hotel for my wife who is visiting me in hospital. It was Sunday 11th May she arrived at the hotel where the unhelpful male member of staff told her that her booking had been cancelled and did not give a reason. She had no where else to stay but luckily got a room at the hotel where she stayed the night before. I have not received any notification saying the hotel cancelled my booking.My wife actually said the staff member found it quite funny absolutely disgusting behaviour probably took full advantage that she was travelling alone

Hotel worth recommending. Delicious food, very nice service, fulfilling additional desires regarding flowers and wine for my wife's birthday.

Stayed here for a vacation for 7 nights… But if you want a pleasant stay, I would recommend somewhere else… - The staff is as nice as they want to… they give very little detail about transport. We had some trouble understanding the Cypriot public transport and when asking for guidance the receptionist just said “the marina bay stop” and we were left on our own. - The wifi is AWFUL. Used only data for the whole stay! - The rooms were not clean when we arrived and they didn’t get any cleaner, even though we got room cleaning every day… - The breakfast okey, but it is nothing like the pictures. There was also a lot of echo in the resection/breakfast area - The pool in the picture on their site is non existent - The “sea view” they claim (as shown in their pics) is either into another taller hotel or a parking lot. - There was no welcoming drinks as they promised or water or “coffeemaker” + The only nice thing about this hotel is the location. A lot of nice, local restaurants and near the beach. When you understand the public transport system an excursion to is easy.
