Lovely, clean room however, no bath! Bed is huge, comfortable and fresh. Bathroom is spotless.
The only negative was the noise, both internal and external. People slamming doors at stupid o’clock and outside revellers.
I know some people said parking was an issue but not for me.

The rooms need updating. We had many maintenance issues which were not resolved, although the staff was very friendly and supportive. Example: shower too hot and cannot be mixed to cool. Taps lose. TV not working properly. Internet weak. Cupboard door stuck.

Distracted and disinterested at reception/spa. Had to move rooms because of an unclean bed (new one wasnt a big improvement). Dated decor. Spa has a capacity of 12 people in a hotel that must have 80+ rooms. Room service had huge unavailability of items and the burgers they did have were freezer burned and awfully chewy. Other simple things like being told the soup of the day is tomato and being brought mushroom... In serious need of renovation upstairs.. We left a day early as partner was so unhappy with the quality.. Avoid

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night - which isn't the first time I've had this happen while staying at this hotel! I was dissapointed that this wasn't acknowledged at check out, just a simple "sorry for the inconvenience" would have been appreciated. Otherwise this is a high quality hotel which is nicely decorated, particularly in communal areas. The parking is always tight but I did manage to find a space. I regularly stay here for work.

When we first arrived at the hotel the restaurant was very busy and we thought we might have a bad experience but we were quite wrong ,it was very good. Our room was very comfortable with a lovely bed and the shower was good too. Would like to have had a thermal spa but it was all booked up ,so remember to book in advance. When we left in the morning Diana on reception was very helpful and got a nice young man to carry our cases to the car. Car parking is free for guests which is a big plus

The hotel was great, unique and so many different areas to relax in. Although we didn't get to experience the Spa, the rest was amazing. We had dinner on the first night and that didn't disappoint either. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that the spa required a separate reservation. That information was not on the hotels.com site or in the email I received after I booked the room. The hotel being attached to the spa was the primary motivator for the booking. Hopefully someone sees this review and can take the necessary actions to enjoy this amenity.

Room not cleaned or beds made, when I asked about this I was told they are only done every other day. Loud banging, shouting and cages be pushed around outside our bedroom window from 6am onwards, 1st night only 1 towel left for us both 😡
