Bell Hotel by Greene King Inns

Property is very run down and badly in need of refurbishment.

Very oldie worldie but rather tierd.Room 3 very noisey with etractor fan in kitchen below running until 8pm and frm 8am and a lot of traffic on the road outside.

Lovely staff, checked in and room cosy and warm.

Not our first stay at The Bell and definitely not our last! Staff helpful and friendly. Great value for money. Delicious breakfast

The Bell is a great place to stay in Tewkesbury, directly across from the Abbey. A good size car park, free for residents. Our room was in the main building and was comfortable but slightly dated. Noise from the next door rooms was also noticeable. The staff were excellent, explaining at check in all the options for dining especially as they were very busy with Christmas parties.

If it wasn't for the free parking and arriving by car, I would have looked elsewhere. The property is dated, old looking furniture and facilities, clean, but not somewhere you would stay longer than possible a couple of nights. The room and on-suit are good size, the double bed was comfortable, the heating was good, no need for extra blankets. We didn't eat or drink in the pub, it wasn't busy, given breakfast is not included but is available, people probably go to local Spoons. Would I stay there again, yes, if I again need overnight accommodation.

Room was basic,thought we were staying in the main part of hotel but it was annexe at the side,we were on ground floor and it sounded like a herd of elephants in room above,no noise reduction at all,so annoying,l dont think we will stay here again,there are so many better olde world hotels in Tewkesbury.

Use this hotel a couple if times a year for family get together its very good abd well priced

Beautiful old pub. Downstairs absolutely amazing, rooms need some attention, especially bathroom. We had a twin room and found the beds a bit small. But the staff are great, very helpful and friendly. Short walk to centre of town and directly opposite the beautiful abbey.

Property in middle of renovation

The Bell is located immediately opposite Tewkesbury Abbey and close to eating places and the town. It has parking which is not always easy to find at other hotels in Tewkesbury.

A lovely hotel but be aware the abbey rings its bells every quarter to the hour and on the hour all night

Hotel is historic, with lots of character

I got locked out my room, the night staff had left and both mobile numbers didn’t answer my repeated calls. I had to find another hotel with all my stuff locked in this hotel room.

Nice pub undergoing outside refurbishment. Retaining the old world facia. Rooms are goid

great location, helpful staff, free parking, comfy bed, good breakfast, made a great base to explore Tewksbury

The pub and staff are always excellent and so friendly, the rooms are rather tired especially the bathrooms but clean, the food and breakfast I cannot fault, but again very friendly staff, that’s why I return for my business trips
