Best Western Frodsham Forest Hills Hotel

Very friendly staff. Clean room. Good restaurant and staff friendly. Car park needs smarting up as but overgrown and rubbish everywhere.

Cool does the job no problems

Booked due to wanting pool and hot tub. Annoyed on arrival to be told that will cost £5. Maybe petty but did t say a thing about charge on app. Apparantly says on their website but not on paperwork in room either . Room a bit tatty and dated bathroom Staff and food fine!

Nice hotel. Clean and functional rooms. If you’re looking for a no fuss hotel this is a good choice.

Like a time warp. Old, dirty room, original pink bathroom suite. Dirty carpets. Uncomfortable beds and hard lumpy pillows. Unable to use the pool for the evening as there was an exercise class going on (hotel also uses the pool as a local leisure club), this isn’t detailed when booking and also wasn’t informed by hotel staff despite handing us towels to take the the pool. Honestly stay anywhere else, any other local option would be better than this.

Visited this weekend and was a lovely stay. Bed comfy and food was fantastic. The spa also very good and very clean. Thank you

Lovely location great town would stay again

The room was lovely and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The toilet didn’t flush in the room and the shower head was broke but that’s the only complaint. The pool was warm and the women’s changing rooms were clean and stunning, they had hair dryers, straighteners and swimming costume dryer. We will be 100% booking again very soon.

Easy access hotel with loads of parking and our room was huge

The hotel is clean and comfortable and most of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel interiors are dated and tired so is in need of a refurbishment. We chose the hotel as it is pet friendly and we had our 5 year old Cocker Spaniel with us. We had a pleasant stay until breakfast. We entered the restaurant with our dog in open view of all the staff. We were told to sit wherever we would like in the restaurant so we sat at a table with our dog. We had a nice breakfast which we had mostly finished when the restaurant manager shouted in an abrupt manner across the restaurant that dog’s weren’t allowed in and we had to go to the lounge. We felt put out by this a it would only have needed a quite polite word to ask us to retire to the lounge. We would not have minded sitting outside the restaurant to have breakfast if requested when we entered but were welcomed with our dog.

We had a wonderful stay. What a real Gem of a place. We stayed 2 nights in a family room (double & 2 full sized singles). Having read some less than favourable reviews we were a little nervous but we were delightfully surprised by what we found. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The corridor we stayed in had been recently decorated and was clean and fresh. The room hadn’t yet been upgraded but it was perfectly clean and met our needs (although it was very warm). The ladies changing rooms had been renovated and were fabulous. We choose to shower here each day after our swim rather than use the shower over the bath in room as they were so lovely. There was GHD hairdryers and straighteners available for use too. The pool was also lovely and clean and perfect for the kids. The staff were lovely, welcoming and so friendly. I was staying on my own with my kids and they could not have been more helpful. We even came home on the second day to find wonderful towel art on the beds. The kids loved this! We didn’t book breakfast due to poor reviews but we went along on our last morning and it was wonderful. The continental selection was varied and fresh. As the hotel was quiet we were told there was no buffet so everything was made fresh to order. My son rated their eggs in his top 5 which is real praise. As an added bonus I was able to use the free charging point twice and left on our last morning fully charged which saved us a stop off on our way home. Definitely recommend.

Really nice view from the superior rooms. Pleasant and relaxing stay. Couldn’t get in the pool as it was always too busy but the gym was nice and clean and full of decent kit. Would definitely stay again.
