A nice place that well located. I would give it 5 stars but I could hear people staying in the next room whilst in bed which was annoying for a while

Comfortable bed, towels and decent coffee facilities. Not too far from town.
Very small bathroom and some areas needed upgrading/fixing. Our blind was broken and the window was very dirty.

It was ok, room was noisy because you could hear everything from rooms above and to the side. Nice and clean hotel, reception team were very friendly and helpful.

A very sleek, simple and clean hotel. The room was great for one night (double room with window). The only issues to point out are that there is no bin in the room (aside from the bin in the shower room) and the Smart Control doesn’t work consistently, I had to keep clicking into my emails to access this. It did become quite annoying after a while. Staff on reception were welcoming and assisted promptly with anything needed. I would book again, but will check out one of the apartments.

Bloc overall is a good, modern budget hotel with contemporary features. Apartment rooms are the best with good amenities including mini kitchen with fridge, coffee maker, microwave and sink. Staff on reception were very helpful. The only downside is there is no breakfast, but there are cafes a short walk away in the Jewelry Quarter

The hotel was in a great location for our event, and a nice part of Birmingham (jewellery quarter). Check in was straightforward, staff were friendly and I was upgraded to an "apartment" which was clean and well appointed.
My only issue was that the rooms didn't seem to be very well sound insulated because the people in the room above kept me awake until 1:30 because I could clearly hear their talking.
Clever use of an app to allow access to the hotel, lift and room, instead of a key.

A hotel that I’m is sure is proud of its strange app access system, but it was bug ridden and took time to activate the webpage each time to get into my room. Would suggest on that it’s not friendly to less tech savvy folk and many may not feel safe how long they have to fiddle with the app to get into the hotel and their room.
That and a disappointingly cold shower earns this a 3/5. Could be a very nice place.

The room was ok although next time i would definitely get a window room. All the staff were lovely and helpful. There was free water in the rooms but I think it would benefit from tea and coffee in the room.
