This was our second stay here and like our first time we were very pleased with everything. The hotel is modern and well maintained. The staff in the restaurant are excellent and the food is also very good. I wouldn’t hesitate to keep using the Clayton Hotel in the future.

Room excellent. Two double beds. Quiet. Warm. Clean. Plentiful supply of tea & coffee. Short safe walk on good paths to T1 / T3 / train station or the free shuttle bus. Great stay.

Asked for two rooms near a lift or ground floor due to walking difficulties of two of us. They did the best they could. Did not rate the evening food at all, for the price paid. But breakfast was good. Great shuttle service

We thought it was ok hotel .I personally didn't think it was worth what we paid.
The location was the best bit tbh ideal for terminal 1 but I thought the room was dated and in the bathroom had a crack in sink and was very basic hotel .I've paid less and got better hotel . basically your paying for location.we went into bar didn't get told anything regarding ordering food and drinks .we presumed we had to order on your phone with a block on table but we could have sat somewhere else and go bar which we preferred to do.it was only when another family came in that we could have moved but no one came to us regarding this.we bought a pizza and 2 drinks and was very expensive for what we got .don't get me wrong was nice jus pricey.There was nothing in the room explaining info for things like bus to terminal.i knew there did one but if people don't know there wasn't any info regarding this .I checked in online which was easier but overall it's location your paying for nothing else .we had breakfast which was good but we jus walked in no one told us we had to wait to give room no at entrance.so anyone could walk in . overall not bad but could be better.

My stay was excellent except when I needed to get to the airport. I wasn't aware that I needed to schedule a transfer. The man at the front desk told me 'many people walk', I told him that I had all this luggage, 4 suitcases. I ended up calling a cab which cost me 10£, and the shuttle bus that had picked me up at the airport started transporting people at the same time the cab arrived. I was upset about this. Why wouldn't the men at the front desk say that the hotel shuttle bus would start running soon?

Convenience of the hotel to the train station and the airport. The rooms were a great size and beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't explore the rest of the hotel as it was an overnight stay. Otherwise, what we saw was very good. We would definitely stay there again.
