Lovely reception very helpful and accommodating Rooms very comfortable but need updating

Convent location to Old Trafford

One of the hotels I use when in Manchester. It’s great especially the staff. Needs a bit of cosmetic work done but it’s stayable.

Hotel a bit tired. In need of a refurbishment but clean and comfortable for the money. Staff very helpful. Unfortunately people in room above decided to have a party. No phone in room to ring reception. Had to go down and complain. Staff went to the room to tell them to be quiet. Noise continued until 3 in the morning!! Staff in the morning offered a free drink in the restaurant, not really compensation for no sleep!!

Nice staff

Very good hotel and nice view of quay

Lovely friendly staff. Enjoyed a cooked breakfast overlooking Salford Quays. Was able to park easily in hotel car park. Would stay again.

Great Staff and location

Great hotel , clean , comfy beds , staff friendly good price . Dated decor apart from hot water overly hot . Great stay

The location was great. Right next to a tram stop. When I checked in I had to ask how to get to the lift and there was no information in the room about facilities. The bed was really uncomfortable but everything else was fine.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is looking a little tired in places.

Room was outdated. Especially the tv and the bathroom. Generally however was kept clean and customer service was nice. Worst thing however was we were told we can only late check out till 12, even though they give options for late check out at 1pm and 2pm online. They were still trying to charge the same amount for less hours

We arranged breakfast on December 28th to go as in early flight - it couldn’t be found. & manager on duty on 16th refused to let us have credit against our dinner in dinning room on 16th. So she offered cold breakfast ‘to go!’

Never before stayed at this hotel. Top of our list from now on.

Really nice hotel

Property was tired & room furniture & bathrooms need upgrading. We stayed in room 442 & carpet by entry was loose! Bath tub was very slow to drain which was v unpleasant & bath was chipped! We paid for breakfast for 3 mornings but last morning (17/12/24) we left hotel at 05:00 for early flight & hotel manager promised to have 2 breakfasts ready for pick up as they wouldn’t apply 2 breakfast credits to the meal we had in hotel the night before. Bad manager decision, so we’re seeking refund for 2 breakfasts please.

Hotel was in a perfect location. However this is the only plus for me. The rest was pretty disappointing. The Hotel is in need of a upgrade as it looking very tired. Bathroom was clean but looking very old. Lots of broken tiles across the full bathroom. Shower unit very old and in need of repair. Showerhead extremely dirty. Room itself very large and clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Disappointed with the lack of room cleaning services. Tag was left for our room to be cleaned. Requested fresh towels but they never arrived. We had to just take towels and loo roll from the cleaners trolley. Breakfast on the 1st morning was outstanding. Lots of choice and plenty of availability. However not so on the 2nd morning. We had to wait while items were being cooked. Both Mornings the restaurant was roughly the same amount of people dinning so it can be a case of it being busy. Just 2 days totally different. But plenty of choice and tasty. Check in and out so easy. We done the Pre Check in and this made it very easy. Overall the hotel done the job we wanted it do in term of location for a couple of nights away to relax and do some Xmas Shopping, However for the price we paid I have to say we are disappointed as a few minor issue lets it down. Ultimately not value for the money.
