Really nice hotel. Perfect location for the Arena - 10 minute easy walk away. Car park is also very convenient ( park on level 10 as it's direct access to the hotel ) Room was very nice and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Stayed here with a friend on new year to chill out and bring in the new year with a swim and sauna. When we arrived we were given the keys to our room straight away and the staff were very polite and attentive. Our room was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was large and there was tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. We had a good nights sleep. Before coming to stay we had called to hotel to ask if the pool would be open when we arrived. They advised that it would be open to 9pm. When we arrived at 9pm we were advised it was shut. We then again asked in the morning if we could use the facilities and was advised this was ok. We went for some food and came back and were advised we would have to wait an hour for the pool. This was disappointing as this was the third time we had enquired about the pool and could not access it and had to travel home having not being able to use them. This was pretty disappointing considering we just wanted to come here to relax and were not able to. However, I appreciate it was new year and maybe on another day this would not have been the case. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat here but it did look nice and the drinks we had were also nice. The staff were very polite and if it hadn’t been for the pool situation I would have returned again.

The hotel is located behind the city’s main train station, about 10 minutes walk from the city centre. A multi-story car park adjacent to the hotel provides convenient parking facilities. Breakfast was very busy and required queuing on both days of our stay. The family room was of good size, comfortable and clean. We did not try the swimming pool or spa facilities, both of which required advanced booking. Generally, the hotel provided a satisfactory experience for a short stay.

Nice stay. Several of our party (3rooms) were not able to check in at 3 and waited until after 4 for room allocation. This did not help with the children as they wanted to use the pool and had no room number or anywhere to change. Luckily they all used our room not that convenient though.

Really disappointed with this place! After reading the reviews I thought this was going to be a great choice for my son and partners anniversary. Getting through to the reservations team after 3 attempts on hold took over an hour and then no one came back to the call. I just wanted to upgrade the room as a treat for them but my son had to do that on arrival. The upgrade was to an unsuitable disabled room and the tv didn't work. The upside was they enjoyed the breakfast and the spa area. I'm still waiting for someone to contact me about the issues but my messages are unresponded to. Staff were uninterested & unhelpful so my son did not complain on checking out.

Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable, bed was comfortable. Bar area was nice and relaxing even though it was busy with people celebrating Christmas.

Great stay, convenient location, with the ability to add parking onto your booking, which was handy if you want everything covered when you arrive. Staff were friendly and formal on the front desk, and during breakfast. So polite you feel like a VIP. Room was in good condition, but signs of wear, and no bin bag. Nothing wrong with that though as it was comfy and amenable.

Booked a one night stay to attend a concert at the nearby arena. Very nice hotel with first class staff.

staff were helpful and polite, the room was comfortable we stayed in a crown plaza pre lockdown and the breakfast was easily the best We'd had in a long time in a hotel, since lockdown we've stayed in a crown plaza twice,Newcastle being the 2nd time and on both occasions the breakfast has been bang average eg in the quality of the ingredients, Sausage, black pudding and the kippers.

Lovely clean hotel conveniently located next to the station. Spacious quiet rooms and lots of choice at breakfast. Would stay again

found it difficult to regulate the temperature without getting drafts of cold air from the air conditioning. (I do not like air conditioning) On asking I did get a second duvet to have a warm bed but cool room. Toilet cistern kept running and not filling which I couldn't rectify on the last morning. The carpet had a sticky mark outside the bathroom. Staff very helpful and food was excellent.

Alex at the desk was lovely she let us check in early as we were there before 3. The room was so nice and the spa was good!
