Nice hotel in a good location , reasonably priced (on this occasion) for an overnight stay.

Check-in was straightforward. Evening meal was good and breakfast acceptable. However, it was very difficult to sleep. Although the air conditioning display was showing 29 degrees cold air was blowing constantly unless it was switched off. The quilt on the bed was very thin and no spare covers or robes available. The chill in the room meant we were unable to sleep. The only option open to us was to replace our day clothes. This allowed a short period of sleep. When we left our room in the morning we met other guests, all of whom had experienced similar issues; the night staff gad been ubable to mitigate their problems. This was a horrible experience. It was the second time we had stayed in this hotel ( previously it was in the summer). There is unlikely to be a third !!

Stayed here before and it has been great. This time however the heating was not working in the room after about 2 hours. We let reception know and nothing was done about it. I expect better from Hilton.

Cold room and cold bar area otherwise good.

Hotel accommodation is fine, restaurant is crap

Very clean and nice hotel. Lovely dining area. Not enough people at reception (only one). Extremely cold in the room, and even if from reception l have been told that will get warmer if l set up the heating/air con thermostat higher, it didn't get much warmer. I setup the thermostat at 29° and neither in the morning wasn't warm. I am sure that the hotel has other settings at their end and doesn't allowed to get the heat over a certain degree even if you want. Because of that, we had a very unpleasant sleep. Shivering. The breakfast is quite limited, not many vegetables options and the coffee weak. Also freezing in the breakfast area with the air con on maximum. Could blow your hair. I've asked the lady who was dealing with the breakfast to put the air con warmer and drop the fan speed, but didn't last long before to get back. Obsession in this country with cold air all over the places, and going in holiday T 45°

Excellent value.

We stayed to attend a wedding so didn’t see surrounding area. Hotel was ok needed some upkeep like crack in bath, show screen. Wedding was great 🤗

lovely hotel and very friendly staff in the bar and restaurant, was surprised how spacious the lobby/bar and restaurant was. food was excellent. we had our 3 year daughter with us and the staff made her feel welcome. room was very comfortable and i liked the quality of the pillows, plus i asked for 2 extra pillows and they arrived quickly, a special thank you to the operations manager think his name was ben!

Excellent hotel. A cut above other Double Trees that I’ve stayed in. Will definitely stay there again.

Fabulous 2 nights stay over the Christmas period, lovely room and service

We stayed 1 night Dec 2024 room 428. Everything about the hotel was really good, parking, lobby, checking in, the bedroom, etc, the only negative was the bar area. Our ood (Curry) was very mediocre and expensive. Drinks at the hotel are astronomical, 250 ml sauvingion £13.60, pint of larger £6.50. We would definitely stay again but not eat/ drink there.

Poor menu and overpriced. Leaking toilet and bath plug broken both on arrival. Apart from that, it was ok. Premier Inn next time

The hotel was lovely and modern with great decor and interior. It was clean and the staff were lovely. Our room was spacious. The breakfast had lots of choice too

Easy to get to. Great customer service. However, not close to the city center.

My daughter and I had a fab 2 night stay at this property. We used it as a base whilst we visited Paulton’s park which is 20 minutes away. There were lots of other families there doing the same and you could tell that the staff were used to children. Claire in the restaurant was amazing with my daughter and made her feel like a VIP. The food was ok, but we paid a very reasonable price for it. The portions were quite large and we felt well fed for the money. The bar had a great choice of beer and wine. We struggled to get our firestick working and the staff were really helpful at getting that sorted too. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others. The only complaint I had is that we could hear a lot of what the guests in the room ajoining ours were saying. We were fortunate that they were a quiet couple who settled down at 9pm, but this could have been more of an issue.

Had a standard room and was very impressed - bed was comfortable and pillows were fluffy and clean (no lumps!). Full size bathroom products, amazing shower, free water in room, cookie on arrival. Convenient for town centre, short taxi drive away. Highly recommend!
