Friendly staff new and clean hotel and great service

Lovely hotel. Great price. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Noisy heating,air con no direct access to car park poor cooked breakfast phone there but not connected no subdued light for bathroom at night noisy malfunction sliding door and toilet flush no ale on draught.

Surprisingly good breakfast, great staff but the rooms were very basic and the walls pretty thin.

Really good stay, clean room, friendly staff and lots of breakfast options

Everything about our stay was very good. The secure parking was very impressive. Clean tidy room, great service.

Simple, comfortable and clean

Staff were nice and welcoming. A bit of grime and grout in the bathroom cubicle and bed duvet cover was quite thin plus buffet breakfast was lukewarm so it was quite tough to eat hence the rating.

Being at the top of very steep hills, it was extremely difficult for anyone with limited mobility. This should have been mentioned when booking on line.

Hotel is in a great location close to the main areas. Parking is directly below the hotel, reasonable priced and secure; be aware there is no lift into the hotel, you need to walk back out the entrance, however there's no obvious signs to tell you this. Staff were always polite and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and had a nice view (5th floor). Breakfast is included in the price and was plentiful, however, having stayed with Hampton on a number of occasions before, we found there to be less choice (fried eggs just 1 example) and the hot food was noticeably bland. Additionally, signage was lacking i.e. semi-skimmed or whole milk and what the waffle toppings are. Overall positives outweighed the easily rectified negatives and would definitely consider staying again.

The property was very good location not so good, Mattress where very uncomfortable, my husband and I tossed and turned all night we both had back aches in the morning. When complained in the morning the lady at the desk was not very helpful.

Breakfast is not good

Excellent place to enjoy your quiet time.

Car park charge should be complimentary for Hotel guests £15.50 is extortionate for one night.
