Holiday Inn DONCASTER A1 (M), JCT.36, an IHG Hotel

A bit tired. Heater controls in room but they don't work. They've fitted radiators which I only found afternoon messing around the the old systems controls. Parking would be a challenge to climb the stairs for older or lesser Mobile people who aren't disabled as such

A colleague from reception was very helpful when my heating wasn't working in my room. He immediately had the radiator checked and when discovered it wasn't working, he sourced a small heater for the room.

All the staff were great and very very helpful, sadly our room (110) had no heating so we were supplied with a electric heater, worse still there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom not nice to walk on cold tiles in the middle of the night. When the room was cleaned our wet towels were folded up and put on top of the toilet cistern, when returning to our room late on saturday evening we found wet hand towels so I checked the bath towels WET dried them on the electric heater enough for the mornig. A very sad week-end.

The room was tiny ., freezing with no heating and the small heater provided id very little with wire accross the room

The pilled were hard and lumpy so couldn’t sleep Sink in bathroom cracked Very slippery in shower as no mat Very cold but had to ask for heating to go on

It was a lovely hotel

Quiet and safe

The hotel is situated next to a Manor house, very nice reception area and staff are friendly. Rooms on small side but cosy.

Good place to stay for a night travelling A1M

I was travelling for work. The room was clean and comfortable. I ate in the bar, the selection on the menu was okay. The food was good without being exceptional.

Excellent location, staff and service. Whilst understanding safety considerations re. radiator, a means to move bed further into room away from wall on one side should be attempted. For older guests, having no access to bed on their side is both uncomfortable and potentially dangerous. Otherwise all perfect.

The room was small and hot and we paid more than previous stay 2 weeks' earlier. The windows were in dire need of renewing - the vacuum in the double glazing was filled with condensation and the window opening mechanism was broken.

The hotel was fine and the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The issue is that the hotel is so hot and the air conditioner in the room is merely a slow fan; it was not fun for sleeping in the room. They do give you a fan but it has a short cord and there are only 2 sockets to plug it in on the far side of the room. Won't be staying here again sadly unless it is in the depths of winter

Aircon broken, couldn’t turn off

I stayed at this hotel shortly after it opened. It has been maintained to the same high standard. The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful.

An amazing hotel, exceeded our expectations. Totally dog friendly and very polite happy staff. Clean hotel, lovely location and great food too! We can’t fault our stay and we gladly return x
