Holiday Inn Express BRISTOL - FILTON, an IHG Hotel

There is no sockets for chargers next to the bed, and the only usb slot is broken. Shower water pressure not the best. Breakfast very basic. No mushrooms.

Very nicel hotel with excellent facilities

It’s a good stop on the way back from West Wales to break the journey.

The reception team were superb. Very cheerful and friendly. Dealt with any problems streight away.

we booked twin 3x rooms for work colleagues to find one person was sleeping on a sofa be. i wasn't happy about this how's as we work long shifts & needed a comfortable sleep

Our stay , was fantastic the room was clean and had everything that we needed

Bit out the way but as per the standard the chain sets out, its mildy inconveniencing getting to if you don't drive,

Comfortable bed and a quiet room. Breakfast was quite limited with the same four or five hot options every morning.

The hotel itself would not be my first choice but the manager on duty when we checked in was great. Very impressed thathe could make a bed properly and very quickly!

A very affordable and friendly option for a quick overnight stay, the bathrooms weren’t as clean as I would like but the linen was lovely.

Loved everything about the hotel itself & the staff extremely helpful & polite. If I was going to point out room for improvement, then on the website , it says parking is available but not about a variable cost. As it was, I was staying under 24 hours therefore £5 was affordable.

I arrived early as my family had booked two rooms the day before were staying for 3 days I was only staying for one night. I understood I could not check in till 3 but I asked at 10 clock would there be any rooms free at this point I was told there were none but if I came back about 1 ish would let me if one was available then , good service at this point. Went back at 1 clock was rudley told in a there are no rooms and there is a lady waiting in front off me sat on a chair!! I said you know I been here scince 10 clock is there nothing you can do I was told to come back later . I had been in my mum and dads room waiting and seen the cleaner clean several rooms so not sure why said no rooms available or she could off took my number and phoned me when a room ready . I was due to go out at 3 clock so got ready in my parents room . Went down at 235 and got a room . I understand rooms are generally not ready to 3 but this could off been handled in a much better way which did not make me feel I was wrong for asking if there was a room available. I have worked in customer service for 20 years and this is not customer service Disappointed is all I can say!!

Having booked a twin room, we ended up with a double bed and a not so comfortable double sofa bed rather than the twin singles we’d booked. Not impressed with the breakfast food either. However, couldn’t fault the staff. All helpful and polite.
