The staff were so pleasant, particularly Stephan after I made demands to get our room changed. He was so helpful.

I am happy with the property, very peaceful area little people around not at all busy, just faced a little issue with the key card thats all. very relaxing place will visit again

Issues with things not working i.e. TV and phone in room and issues with lock getting stuck on door. The number for reception on the pbone was incorrect and went to a differnet hotel

Good in restaurant, no fridge in room, beer and wine was reasonably priced, room service good, ordered a twirl but got a strawberry alpen bar as my dessert, alpen bar was ok. Dog loved the lift.

The hotel itself is ok but needs some attention, the aircon did not work (we did have a small oil radiator) the window did not close properly and let in cold and noise, shower head leaked. The manager was good but the foreign guy behind reception could not understand english very well which was frustrating especially when we had a pizza delivered to reception, the delivery guy couldn’t understand english either so that was very frustrating. Overall wasnt particularly pleasant, unlikely to return.

Poor hotel. No water one morning, bathroom fan would not switch off, hairdryer didn’t work, bed uncomfortable. Very disappointing overall experience.

Hotel heating system very poor. We were on ground level with 2 children and had people smoking and talking until 01:00am outside our window and noise from car doors. Lighting in room was not great. Would not re book. Staff friendly- especially breakfast staff

Hotel had ample free parking for residents. Bedroom was clean and tidy but the lighting is mostly provided by bedside wall lights or angle poise lamps. As a result the room was somewhat gloomy. Dining was available in the bar, tables were somewhat low. Food choice was good. Breakfast was a good choice. Staff were efficient. Hotel entrance was spoilt by the abundance of cigarette butts on the floor and plant containers.

impressed by the welcome (ANNA) and the halloween decorations. Entrance , reception and restaurant all very inviting. Room was good, door a little iffy, a few bits of bathroom a little tired but new shower v good and additional heater got very warm I had to turn off. I'd stay again . Anna also found my membership number and sorted all that out for me - brilliant.

First room we had was fine, clean and seemed reasonable but the shower room wouldn’t drain and essentially flooded the shower room. Spoke to reception who said they were having issues and moved us straight away, no issues and nice about it all. The second room had a bathroom so no flooding issues but desperately needed an upgrade. The carpet had doormat over near the window to cover up a previous leak or stain, the window was clearly broken and had been desperately siliconed to an inch of its life but was still draughty, the wall paper was peeling and in the bathroom the previous toilet roll holder had been ripped off the wall and just exposed plaster and a hole left to view. The food however was lovely and an excellent menu. We had breakfast twice and dinner on our first night. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Just maybe bad luck our room was needing a make over.

Very mixed experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar and restaurant have a good selection and breakfast good value. Condition of bedroom poor. Clearly some effort has been made to refurbish (e.g shower) but much more needed and really showed its age with stains throughout carpet, torn and peeling wallpaper, unrepaired water damage in bathroom and cracked washbasin. Also heating via portable electric radiator. For the price, Holiday Inn really needs to invest in refurbishing the bedrooms to the standard expected of their brand,
