Nice and clean…good location

Hotel room was cold. Contacted hotel to speak to them about it as I am a regular user and despite stating they would contact me back they didn’t.

Pleasant overall, but it is a shame that breakfast is only served from 7.00am which is too late for me. 6.30 would be good.

The hotel is very nice. The food in Harry's was lovely and very good value for money. My only complaint would be the breakfast. The food was nice, however the serving station was obviously not big enough for the number of people staying as it was constantly running out of items leaving people waiting and their breakfasts getting cold, as was mine. The area where the toaster and drinks machine is very badly set up, causing a constant bottleneck, with no orderly queue. I think the serving areas just isn't big enough particularly when tables are placed in walk ways, right next to the serving area.

This hotel is a hidden gem staff amazing food amazing and everything here is first class highly recommend

Overall our stay was distinctly average. The room was very small. It was very tight between the wall and the bed and having the TV protruding off the wall at the corner of the bed at head height must be a clear safety risk for anyone getting in and out of bed. You have to physically bend out of the way to get past in order to get into bed. I fully appreciate it is an old character building with wooden window features, but the windows were dripping with condensation throughout the day and night. That must be addressed and cannot be good for the health of those staying in such a small space. The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable (much softer than the usual hotel standard) and as a result neither of us got a decent night’s sleep. The shower made an annoying fairly loud whining noise when in use. Also, there was a leak between the shower head and the shower hose which meant water was spurting out when in use. There were a few really visible cobwebs in the bathroom making you wonder how well it is cleaned. The hotel itself is lovely. The staff were great. It is a lovely spot for a relaxing break but we were fairly disappointed with the room and its facilities. To be fair, we would have probably had a better room in a Travelodge for substantially less, but we had booked something which should have been considerably different to that. We left fairly dissatisfied, which given the class of the hotel should not have been the case.

Stayed in a stable room 309. Lovely welcome by staff and despite a key entry issue a seamless welcome. Upon entry the room was clean and fresh Big bed and a decent size bottle of water and condiments. The room was overly warm.we had a lovely meal in Harry's bar. We had to report an issue in the bathroom which was delt with instantly.. 5star.on that.. unfortunately our neighbours were in and out all night and banging the doors. Maybe a slow close arm would help with that. Good choice of breakfast and excellent service. Wish we coud of stayed longer.

Nice hotel, however wedding going on in function room, so bar/restautant was noisy when waiters kept opening and closing doors. Service was very slow, probably due to the wedding

Such a stunning hotel and a lovely stay

We were attending a wedding and it was a super setting for such an event. Whilst time didn't allow us to fully explore the grounds, they looked immaculate. Most importantly, all of the staff were charming, polite and helpful. The food was of high quality too.

I stayed here for 2 nights, for our office Christmas party and a meeting. Service, food, rooms and facilities were all excellent - can't fault anything at all!

Shame children allowed in the spa between 9-10am and 4-6pm. Also disappointed, even as a guest, I had to rent a robe. Meant for a cold walk back to my room.... Food was nice. But wouldn't go back.

Always a good stay! Shame the breakfast buffet is bit bland and basic also the coffee machines are old and don’t make a good coffee.
