The property was super convenient. Buses, underground station and cabs all within a block. Very quiet area, we loved it. Hotel is clean, staff was wonderful and helpful and our room was small but efficient. Would love to visit again!

Location is great but rooms are like JAIL compared to other hotels close by . Pictures don’t match what you see with both eyes!
Staff were kind and helpful expect the lady who did my check in. She wasn’t helpful at all.
I’m glad I did not book entire 10 nights at Melia …. After 3 nights I booked at walking distance hotels the Bailey and it was excellent.

The staff at Melia London Kensington are exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. They assisted us with booking sightseeing and taxi. They provided directions to walking destinations and to further destinations by tube. We strongly recommend this hotel. Underground 1/2 block from hotel and hop on hop off bus stop in front of hotel. Many attractions like Victoria and Albert museum, Royal Natural History museum, Royal Albert Hall within walking distance.

I like the design and ambience of the hotel and is situated in walking distance to travel networks. Entrance to the hotel has stairs and lift not working during stay was problematic.I booked a cosy room which is as described small, which again is nicely designed but shower soap needed refilling and some mould in shower not great for price. I think the hotel is good but a few little things made me consider the price paid.

This hotel is a refurbished home, I was in room 120 above the kitchen with NO views, windows had a covering over them . The room had low ceilings, low lighting and just made me feel claustrophobic. Breakfast at 22 pounds was not good. This place had a high rating and I was just disappointed and should have just booked the double tree around the corner.

Very helpful staff, clean room, lots of amenities (slippers, bottled water, coffee, toothbrush kit, etc), big fluffy bath towels. Only very minor complaint would be that the bathroom was a little bit squishy (the toilet is facing the shower wall and I kept having to maneuver myself onto the toilet to avoid hitting my head or arm on it). Great stay here and would definitely stay again.
