New Forest Lodge

Needed this for a short stay in order to attend an event in the area. Affordable, clean and easily accessible.

Just want to say we originally booked for one night but our plans changed , the venue was very helpful when it came to booking us for the extra night and there was not trouble . Plenty of space in the room and we thought it was a nice touch to have a little fridge with some bottles of water in it . Considering what you would pay for a Premier Inn or Travelodge this was excellent value for money and provided a really good room for our needs . If you want to get away from the city for a couple of days , as we did then this is perfect .

Staff were very accommodating, large room and good bathroom. Indian place next door is great

Added touches like having plates/cutlery etc even a microwave available in the communal area was fantastic. Plus this area was kept very clean. We were running late to arrive by 7pm ( end of check in) and we were unable to call. We received a text message with check in details so that put our minds at rest. Well Done! Very helpful staff

Great location. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Plenty of safe parking . The bedroom was a good size amd well equipped.

Although named 'New Forest Lodge', it's a small place positioned slightly away from the New Forest. A good drive to most places, at the northern end of the New Forest with some parking. With an Indian restaurant next door, that takes the parking on a busy night. On booking with Expedia we expected a 'family room', but on arrival were placed into a 'twin'. This gave the hotel a bit of a problem, and we are beyond pushing beds together. The hotel manager moved us to another double room which was better. The rooms are clean and tidy, with tea, coffee, kettle etc and small TV. The bathroom although dated was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. In the reception area was a stock of plates and cutlery with dining seating and a vending machine, if you brought your own food, it was handy. For preparing packed lunches etc. the iron was also kept there. Overall it was very clean, tidy and safe and a good standard of budget accommodation

It was a lovely room and the staff were helpful. The location was great as expected. The only complaint was that the Bath and the bathroom floor had a lot of black hairs, which probably came off the shower curtain.

We have had a lovely stay at this property. Would recommend to any family. It’s comfortable, well equipped and spacious. Better than any hotel as you have a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We found this property as going to Paultons park and it is on 9 mins drive away. Thank you we have been very pleased with our stay

Room was very clean, and large. Wifi was exceptional.

What an amazing night we had as a couple. We loved every bit of it. The host was lovely and amazing and staff there was so friendly. Will love to come back again

Easy self checkin

Comfortable. No breakfast options. On main A36 so traffic noise during day, not to bad at night. Indian restaurant next door otherwise travel to eat. Bending machine for chocolate and crisps. 10 mins drive from Salisbury.

Quite clise to the road but after a ling tiring day we slept well. Comfortable room with wverything you need.

Beautiful accomodation

Pleasant, helpful staff, decent sized room, easy parking.

Limited facilities but otherwise a decent place to stay.

Beautiful views, walking distance to the beach. House is old but in pretty good condition. Property is responsive to their emails. And the kids loved it there.

I would come back again.
