Everything was fine only down side was the kettle way mold or scuff inside apart from that everything was perfect

Booked last minute as we were let down by another booking the night before, but glad we found this place. Rooms were reasonably priced. Check in was so easy. The staff were very friendly. We liked the bar area with the pool table and tv screens. Beds were comfy. Rooms were large and clean.
My only negative comment is the amount of condensation on the windows in one of our rooms meant you couldn’t see out the window to look at the view.
I’d stay here again. :)

The moment we arrived at the hotel, we went straight to the reception expecting a basic level of service which is provided in 99% of hotels, ended up being a pipedream. We literally had to wait 30 to 40 mins because the lady at the desk was confused what room we booked, which was a triple room confirmed via the booking. Apparently this was due to a system error which took a long time to resolve. Special mentions about the room which are the following:
1. Dirty kettle. Pure filth with limescame rampant inside.
2. Bed. One of the single beds is completely obliterated at the foot end and also in the middle which has destroyed the comfort of our stay, and eradicates its purpose in the first place. We noticed this after the shocking closure of the reception lobby which is supposed to be open for 24 hrs.
3. Bedsheets. Causing discomfort and itchiness which is highly unusual. We were told the cleaners would assess the room before we went into it.
4. Bathroom. Marks and rust in certain areas which shows a lack of maintenance.
5. Room temperature control is broken. Seems old.

It was clean enough but the building didn’t feel the safest somehow - it also leaves a bit of thought as to whether the fire safety is great although signage was very clear.
Otherwise, sheets were clean, showers were warm and staff were very nice. However I wouldn’t expect any more beyond that. For the money however, it’s more than acceptable.

Very nice welcome and polite receptionist. Room sparklingly clean, shower nice and powerful and hot. Bed linen pristine, new carpet in room. Only thing letting it down was entrance on ground level.. in need of a refurb. Will book again

Poor checkin . A Nigerian looking over my shoulder when filling out my details . I asked him kindly too give me some space and privacy . He ignored this . Staff were not helpfull to move him on as he was causing a nuisance. Won’t be back here as it is full of asylum seekers and you don’t feel safe . Not a hotel as described on the website Shame as rooms are reasonable but the clientele in here is shocking . Not for woman as they would be scared in this environment. Not a hotel as described on the website. This is a converted tower block . Old offices converted by Indian Business men. It is a shared building with the jobcentre.

Check in was 2pm. Arrived after 3 and room still wasnt ready and only sent someone to go clean a room for us. With 2 kidsand have been travelling from 6am this wasn't ideal.

The room was a good size, and the facilities were good but my complaints were that the room was very cold (the blower gave a choice of warm air or warm air at high pressure, but only seemed to blow cold. Not a great choice for mid january), the bed was uncomfortable (said a king size bed but in reality it was two singles), the breakfast was too early. (a 9 o clock finish is ok if you have a days work planned, but not good for pensioners or those on holiday), and finally, it was disappointing to read "free parking" on the website but in reality parking wasnt free, and you had to pay £2 at check-in.

It is a grim office block. One minute you’re in a weirdly set out bar with a reception at the other end, then you go back out into floor foyers which have businesses, and then lifts to rooms. All extremely odd, needs a good tidy up, the building just isn’t a nice experience in general. Room was pretty average and lights didn’t work in the bathroom, WiFi was horrific.

Regularly stay here. It is very convenient for the tram service and local pubs.
Downsides for me is no bathtub but shower is very good. Also they are now charging (albeit a small fee) for car parking.
