What you expect from a premier inn. Fairly clean room (but don’t look closely). Water pressure low at peak times. Breakfast selection is pretty standard, but eggs are cooked very frequently, so the yolk is always runny.
Absolute highlight of my stay came from a waiter, Chris, in the restaurant for breakfast. Chris gives you a feel of a 5 star hotel and goes above and beyond for guests. He seemed to remember every guests name and breakfast order. The greeting he gives you on arrival makes you feel so welcome, special, and like you’re in a really fancy place (and not a breakfast buffet at a 3 star hotel). He’s always busy restocking and cleaning up. I really hope the management value this employee and his contribution.
