Another wonderful stay. Friendly staff, clean room. Mattress was a little too firm for our liking, but was ok for a couple of nights.

A solid hotel in a great spot with nice clean rooms and friendly staff.

Our stay was very disappointing. First of all, the hotel was nowhere near the seafront as advertised. You would have to walk about 10-15 minutes to get there. They also advertised King-size bed which turned out to be a Standard Double on the 4th floor with no lifts. My wife and I had to carry our luggages l the way taking a few minutes rest on the 3rd floor. When questioned about the size of the bed the Manager only trued to justify it saying the bed in our room was larger compared to others innother rooms. I don't think we woild ever use this hotel again.

Booked a sea room , as per phone call to say can you pay cash instead of card. Ended up with a park view, nice hotel but not managed very well

Very friendly staff on arrival and in all interactions. Public spaces looked nice. Room was clean and simple. Only gripe was the need to de-timescale the taps and shower head. The bathroom was spacious and modern and the stuttering and erratic spray caused by limescale blockages was out of place and could’ve made for a much more pleasant experience. Overall was good value for a single room, was visiting my daughter at uni and would happily stay there again when doing so.

Very pleased with the welcoming receptionist. Nice ambience and newly refurbished pleasant ground floor bedroom.

I was given a room away from the view I saw on the the advert which was not nice. The facility was not the best but was ok for a short stay.

We were not made aware that the hotel had no dining facilities and were surprised that we had to go out for breakfast.

Nice clean hotel - modern budget would be best description. Single bed was uncomfortable unfortunately - room was big enough for a small double, but room was nice and clean, staff were lovely. Good WiFi too ! Parking is a free for all on public street outside.

The lady at check in was lovely! The room was perfect for us and had everything that we needed.

Opted to pay the hotel on arrival, but they weren't able to take care payment, so I had to go and find a cash machine like it was the 90s. Paying cash in this kind of establishment just feels like a tax dodge. Otherwise it was quiet and comfortable.

For the price we paid circa £130 in comparison to other hotels nearby I don’t feel this is value for money. Upon check-in we were greeted with a note “back in ten minutes” not a great start although was actually only a few mins. Check-in process was painless but we were on top floor- 4 flights of stairs and there was no lift. Not ideal for all. Rooms are really small. Literally a double bed and couple chairs. No wardrobe as rooms are so small - just a tiny 10cm front facing rail with 2 hangers on. You couldn’t stay here for longer than a day as you couldn’t hang any clothes. Although small the rooms are pretty well equipped. Tea/coffee/kettle, shower supplies, good towels / TV /Floor standing fan. Water pressure in shower not great and shower tray really slippery - needs a shower mat. Bed really was too soft and worn. Check out easy. They charge you more for breakfast and no free parking so if you want to leave your car parked outside then whack on another £13.30 a day in charges.

Hotel was clean. Shower was very weak and hot water took ages to come through. Lots of things needed minor repairs which was a bit disappointing. Door handle to bathroom. Light hanging off wall above bed. Handle on sliding door. Was ok but felt a little unloved.

Very good value for money. No frills, but clean and comfortable.

The rooms were noisy heard next door toilet flushing and hall way walls not very good sound blocking.
