Great stay at hotel. There was a hair in the bathroom sink though and it was not totally clean. Also found an item behind curtains indicating room had not been completely cleaned before use. We did not mention this at hotel.

Positives - Excellent location and very friendly & helpful reception and bar staff
Negatives - The room smelt strongly of bleach and it was offputting. To have the room cleaned you had to hang a card on the door and no one informed us so the room was not cleaned on the first day.

My only criticism was in relation to the bathroom in the accessible room where my mum stayed. There was no form of shelving to put your things on like a toiletry bag etc

Very dirty. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times since it opened, but the decline in cleanliness in the last year is staggering. The rooms are filty - in fact i needed to change rooms three times before i found something acceptable. All rooms i entered had layers of dust on the surface of the desk (one room thick enough to write your name in), thick grime in LED light behind the bed, and a collection of filth and objects under the bedside tables. The area around the rubbish bin was disgusting in all three rooms, with various liquids and food stuck to the wall. I found clumps of dog hair on the floor in one of the rooms.
Due to the condition of the room i did strip the bed, and to be fair both the linens and mattress were clean and free of stains. The staff as always are excellent.
Management need to deep clean ALL rooms immediately and stay on top of cleaning. Cleaners need to be given more time to deep clean the rooms between guests, or inspections stepped up.

Stayed here twice now. It serves us for what we need. Whilst dog friendly, you can only sit with your dog in the reception area part of the bar and slightly beyond. It's a bit limiting seeing as the hotel is at full capacity in the week. There should be dedicated bar

Very unprofessional and uncomfortable place. Shower designed in a way that more than half of water goes out on floor. Bulbs missing and bedside lights were not working. Room was not even cleaned. Staff expected guest to use public services for anything being asked for. No intension to serve. Breakfast was horrible. No attention on what is happening. Refill was not carried out. Breakfast should last until 10 but they start taking food off from 9:40. Have to ask for everything and answer was we may not it. There are no water fountain for drinking waters. Room was not prepared at all.

We had a very comfortable one night stay. Fast & efficient check in with a friendly receptionist. The room was large with a good shower room.
We had drinks at the bar & dinner in the restaurant with freshly cooked tasty food.
Good location close to the motorway.

Stay was good, curtains block out so much light it was great to have a lay in. Shower was great but shower screen not bug enough so water would go over the floor. A few stains on the carpet. Beds were comfy.
