Sapphire Hotel

If I could give less than one star, I would. There was bed bugs. The floor was dirty and stained. The sheets were stained. It smelt like faeces outside the room by the door. There was hair on all the sheets, pillows and in the shower. The parking is advertised as £8.50 for offsite parking during the stay, yet, on arrival, we are told to go a park in Westfield as that is the offsite parking. This is £20 and there was no offer of compensation for false advertising. I was offered another room but admitted that this situation and conditions of the room made me feel uncomfortable and could not accept. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no. I asked for the gentleman to speak to the manager on my behalf to organise a refund and was told no. Apparently the manager would not be available for “a few days” and there was no one to authorise a refund or discuss the situation with. After all this, there was NO APOLOGY for the disgusting state of the room or the poor attitude towards me. I do not recommend this property and it should be shut down.

It's ok for short journey

Very generous calling this a hotel its just several houses in a row that have been turned into rooms with a bathroom. Rooms are crazy small. Couldnt turn around with my backpack on or open a door fully. Really just ok but should not advertise this is as a hotel, it's just a room. Tried messaging the hotel serval times via email and also the expidea chat to radio silence. Left my bag at 1pm and was tild to come back in an hour for check in but check in wasnt until 3pm.

The room did not match the photos at all. It was extremely small, barely a place to walk in the room!

The property had the basic facilities which is ok, carpet looked dirty, they said rooms sound proof, i could hear street noise all night as a gap in the seal of the main window, i could hear next door tv early hrs of the morning. So didnt get much sleep, so wont be staying again

Very comfortable bed in a very basic room which was just what i was looking for a short notice.

I Booked to stay at the Sapphire but , I was directed to check in via a different hotel down the road and given a room in this hotel. The room was nothing like the advertised room shown on the Sapphire page, bedding was awful , room was very small and the noise during the night gave me two very restless nights.

PROS: Didn’t get the room I paid for was in different hotel couple doors down. Beds are small sliding all over the place, couples fighting screaming banging early hours which scared my son! No one to report too?? Toilets don't flush properly!! Heating not working. CONS: showers are nice and hot, tv small but works, small fridge ok, customer service ok but left early no one on night duty

Very good location, quick walk to train stations. Room was very small but had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Excellent for London and a good price.

Da heatin woz timed but overall it woz great

The heating was not working, it was cold especially in December. The bathroom’s door also was not locked.

Had a great stay. Hotel was in a good area close to underground stations . Room was very clean and quiet for being on street side. Staff was helpful too.

Good place

Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. The bed was slightly small for a couple but very comfortable. Classic Shepherds Bush hotel right in the mix of everything but still remaining quiet enough through the night.

Nice room. Very comfy bed. Would definitely stay again. Could do with some free bottled water in the fridge.

Nice budget hotel. Second time ive stayed and hotel has really improved.. Stayed in double room. Very comfortable and warm. Would definitely stay again. 10 minutes walk to Shepherd Bush underground and Westfield shopping center

I saw many horrible reviews for this property and was a bit skeptical of staying here. But it was actually really lovely. The rooms are small but it has everything you need. The bed is comfy the shower is nice. The tv has many channels. There is a fan, hair dryer, small complimentary toiletries, coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. I stayed in room 60 and it has some flaws. For example the radiator worked sporadically, but luckily the property is warm inside so I didnt need it. The pillow was a bit flat, would be nice to have two rather. There were some broken tiles in the bathroom that need fixing. The room was very clean and the wifi worked very well. The staff are lovely and helpful and they supply clean towels every day and take our your trash. I felt safe staying here and it is on such a nice street full of grocery shops, restaurants and walking distance from 2 underground stations so very easy to get into central London. It has a lot of stairs so take it into consideration when you have lots of heavy luggage. Overall a good stay for a couple of nights in london.
