The property is 600 years old. It doesn’t get more historic than that. What a fun and amazing experience. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and our room was clean and spacious and perfect for a little getaway.

We had a very nice stay at the Sign of the Angel. Even though the room was not very big, it had all we needed. It was a different experience. We wanted to stay in place with history, wooden beams and character and we definitevely got that - as well as comfort. The food was amazing, very gourmet, and the staff were fantastic. Super nice and helpful! The hotel has a lovely garden area where you can eat or drink outdoors. Loved it!

Built in 1492 or thereabouts, it is a building of a certain time. Doorways are low, floors a little uneven etc. Not unsafe but one needs to take care.

If you want to experience staying in 15th-century lodging this is the place for you but it's not the place if you prefer a shower as there is only a bath which was in a cupboard! it did make us laugh. The room is claustrophobic but that's part of its charm. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant as the food was fine dining to a high standard and very much enjoyed by both of us. The staff where welcoming and professional.

Fabulous 15th century coaching inn, full of character and quirkiness. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and well presented served in cosy dining areas with lit candles on tables throughout the day creating a lovely ambience. Nice pub garden to enjoy food and drinks on warmer days. Nice comfy lounge available for residents to enjoy.

15世紀(1480年）の羊毛職人の家をホテルにしたというホテル。ホテル内部にもアンティークが使われていたり、宿泊者が自由に使えるロビースペースも、お部屋も素敵な趣があり、歴史を感じました。 部屋も清潔に保たれており、快適でした。 夕飯もホテルの１階のレストランを利用しましたが、お料理はどれも美味しく、素敵なインテリアにキャンドルが灯っていたりとても雰囲気がありました。 朝食も１人12ポンドで、レストランスペースで頂きました。 ホテルのスタッフもみなとても親切で、駅に戻るタクシーを呼んでもらった際もタクシーが来るまで宿泊者しか入れない２階のロビースペースで待っていいよ！と言ってくださいました。 お庭の先は小川が流れている為、庭にカモの家族が歩いていたり、ほっこりしました。 ゆったりとした時間を過ごすのにオススメなホテルです。
