The Sonder looks designer and sleek but is furnished with cheap knockoffs, which was such a shame, as the finished and building itself is lovely. Unfortunately, the staff were clueless when we arrived early, they neglected to tell the cleaning crew, so our room could be ready earlier (which is supposed to be an option) we waited hours and with some common sense we could have been booked in earlier and had an amazing first day. We offered to pay extra for this, but the communication and opportunity was missed. We’d flown in from Australia so this would have made such a huge difference for us. The hotel itself is near to Paddington which is great to get around the city, and from the airport. The room was generous, with lovely finishes, all the standard amenities were there except for a fridge. We were on the top floor and had a lovely view of the church in the distance. Sunset and sunrise were beautiful here. The review for this hotel would have been a lot higher had the staff been accommodating but as mentioned they were uninterested in helping us their guest as they were busy on their phones. This service seems more important than ever and during our stay they missed this bit entirely. I love the idea of the Sonder brand I hope this was a bad day only. We will try them again but email them in advance and arrange for an early checkin even if we don’t need it.

Great location close to Hyde Park, closest underground station not too far, easy to walk to, buses as well. Really clean, room was a good size.

Everything was good Except the air hester. There is a moisture smell. Which was botherinf. We shut down the heater. Without air conditioning we stayed 5 nights. Since weather was ok until the last day. The breakfast bar was ok. Unless the daily fresh products should be provided.

A modern hotel - a lot of admin stuff is done via the Sonder app. A decent hotel with nice stuff! It’s located in a nice and quiet neighbourhood that isn’t too far away from London’s popular spots. However, it would be good if there were more toiletries provided - bedroom slippers would be nice, given that this a 4-star hotel.

Really nice staff at the hotel and v peaceful.

Nice friendly staff for the most part. They were doing some painting in the halls of our floor near our room most of the days we were there. Even the painters were polite and tried to stay as quiet as possible. The room was a decent size and worked well for us. Small lifts but always clean and worked. Lobby was always clean and had nice offerings. Nearby there are only a couple of places for food, but still convenient enough. Several tube stations within a quick walk. Would stay here again.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Sonder the Henry, London. The room was drastically smaller than advertised, bearing no resemblance to the images on your website, and your staff admitted that guests “shouldn’t trust the website description”.This is misleading and absolutely not reflective of a 4-star standard. Additionally, charging separately for basic room cleaning is outrageous.

This hotel is out further from the tourist centers but it is well worth it. The room, albeit small, had the right amenities. We didn't opt for housekeeping, but it was very easy to access towels, linens, and other toiletry needs. The hotel staff were friendly and though you could sometimes hear noise from the hallways, it wasn't too loud.

The room was clean, nice and well kept although pretty small. It didn't matter for us, since we only used it for sleeping. :-) The café had really nice croissants and the hotel was situated in a quiet area with lots of nice cafés for breakfast and coffee. Pretty close to all the transportation you needed and it was a perfect spot to start exploring London from. Friendly staff. We loved our stay and would love to return!

Lovely hotel, nice modern aesthetic with the highest ceilings which made room feel large, heated bathroom floors, minimalist staff intervention which is great, really nicely attired lobby with a cafe good for quick nice early morning exits, fantastic area, pub across the road that was happy to accomodate requests to watch football games etc on tv. The area so close to Kensington Gardens for a nice walk and then to high street shopping.

Excellent location with several alternatives of public transport to all over London, e.g. Westminster, Eurostar train terminal and British Museum. Hyde Park just few steps away for morning run. Safe area with restaurants close by. Clean, nice service, comfortable bed, homely. Good price-quality ratio. Breakfast service with healthy options such as porridge and fresh juice a bonus.

Beautiful building with stunning foyer & pleasant staff. Rooms are more basic but clean and comfortable. Hotel is in a lovely part of London with great walking and transport options. Good value.

We really enjoyed it. The location was perfect for us and the room was small but very well designed. We would definitely recommend Sonder and will try to book again if our travels and your locations line up. Thanks
