Loved the hotel & our stay, we were in the tower, Rm 73, which had the best view from the hotel onto Windermere
It was a smaller room but perfect for us
The staff were all lovely and friendly
Breakfast was great, a cold buffet and you can also order something hot from the menu

Great location overlooking the lake. Stayed here a few times now. Breakfast is top notch and the staff serving you in the restaurant are very attentive.

Everything about our stay was good. My only complaint relates to hotel car parking at £15 per day. this in itself is very expensive and does not seem justified when paying for accommodation and food.

A great location. Reasonable price and service. Picked this hotel over others as it offered parking. Disappointed to find this was an extra cost and not included in the price. Would probably pick somwhere else next time for this reason.

I have been here a few times over many years. It is absolutely at its best now! Stayed in a 'garden' room, which was excellent with a peak at the lake through the trees. The restaurant was a delight with an excellent menu and beautifully prepared food at dinner and breakfast (i loved the kippers). Staff were all exceptional. I'll be back.

Second time we have enjoyed a pre Christmas break at The Belsfield and we are already planning a return.
The hotel was tastefully festive and very inviting. This down to the hotel itself and the efficient and friendly staff.
We had a 1st floor room overlooking the lake and the room was of a good standard.
It was comfortable clean and the shower was outstanding.
Breakfast was excellent with bags of choice and we also enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel. Well cooked, great value for money and served with a smile.
Already looking forward to our next visit👍

The hotel is tired and in a state of disrepair. There is no atmosphere and you only see a handful of people during breakfast. Breakfast was the best part of our stay. It’s a shame because from the outside, the Hotel looks impressive and is in the best location with spectacular views of the lake. However, we will not return.
