The Dorset Resort

The property was clean. Just the beds were single Beds in all couple rooms. Would be great if they had double beds instead.

A very clean and spacious accommodation! A beautiful holiday home with everything you need for a comfortable self catered stay. Perfectly located for exploring the amazing jurrasic coast, only 20 minutes from the amazing Lulworth cove and Durdle door. The only negative is that the reception staff did not communicate much upon arrival, just handed over the keys and directed us to our lodge! Then again at check out, the receptionist was dismissive and didn't even ask if we'd had a good stay!

I have stayed here a few times, never been disappointed and will always come back for another visit.

Everything was great with our visit! The lodge was easy to locate, immaculate, and the staff at the check in desk were fantastic. Would definitely stay here again! The private sauna in the lodge was brilliant too! Couldn't fault the visit at all

Thank you! Our stay in Lulworth house was unique. Everything in the house was up to standard, but unfortunately the weather and the storm created a lot of inconvenience. The damage to the electricity left us without the opportunity to prepare food, heating and hot water. Lighting and firewood were provided for the fireplace which helped us have a great time. We will definitely visit this place again!

Excellent facility for a joint family trip. The washing machine broke on the first day but they took our washing and did it all, very good, as we had two small children. Otherwise everything was great and the staff were very helpful. Good location to visit many places of interest and fun.

I love the location of this property, so quiet and relaxing but near Monkey World, Weymouth beach, Durdle door. Great pubs nearby also.

Great for families, very well equipped and spacious. Some appliances in kitchen not all in perfect order but overall everything needed and the addition of a separate utility room was so useful.

We had a great few days in Abbotsbury Lodge on the Dorset Resort. The lodge was spacious and family friendly. There is everything you could possibly need to self cater. There were only 5 of us but it could sleep up to 9, plenty of beds, showers, towels etc. Parking for 2 cars outside the lodge and space around it. We ate breakfast twice at the Clubhouse and everyone enjoyed their choices. I used the takeaway service for tea for me and two children one evening, which we actually ate in the clubhouse. There is a restaurant but this saw little use during our stay. The Dorset Resort staff were friendly and helpful. Be aware that food is not readily available after 5.0pm. You do need to order food before 5.0pm and collect it by 7.00pm. However, there are several restaurants nearby. The addition of a play area or maybe a crazy golf course could encourage families to stay here. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

The log chalets and settings are beautiful with a log burner and plenty of space to relax

Booked 3 homes for 30 people for 3 nights, we were placed in fully equipped unique spacious homes with balconies, from pots & pans, dishwasher to a potato peeler, everything provided inside the homes, enjoyed having working spa rooms inside the homes, beautiful kids friendly natural surroundings. Admired the natural views plus glimpse of deers and other animals within the hotel areas. Downside: uncomfortable beds, couple of window locks didn't work, but to be fair we were always on the move and didnt have the chance to report them.

Beautiful log homes and peaceful and quiet atmosphere allows to relax and enjoy beauty of nature.

We used it as a base for exploring the Jurassic coast. The lodge was really clean and comfortable and we enjoyed chilling out after long days out.
