Beautifully presented hotel with great facilities, very clean and staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent location only a short stroll into the city centre.

Such a beautiful hotel, walkable to centre and everywhere we planned to go. Would definitely come back!

Excellent staff. Beautiful room and hotel. Fitness center. Nice kitchen facilities in room well placed so didn’t feel like kitchen was in room— really well designed. Great bar and restaurant area. Easy walk to river Cambridge for walking/running. Easy walk to Cambridge city center. I will come back!

I would not recommend it. Our room (Darwin, third floor) had a very loud air con/ventilation system disturbing us while talking or watching a movie, and it made sleeping extremely difficult. I am quite shocked that hotels are allowed to install such noisy extractors - isn't their main purpose to provide a decent place to sleep? Other than that you have to pay extra for some ridiculous things, like there is one bottle of water per stay with another charged 3£, or there is some wi-fi but high speed one is costing more. In the bathroom there is a note saying they will charge your card if you take the hand wash bottle away, which made me feel strange. The level of cleanliness was not very high, with finger marks on hangers and some fluff on the bedside tables. Overall the value for money is not there, and I wonder how other people find this place great, do they really not mind constant noise and mediocre quality charged as something high quality? Staff was nice but they did nothing to help. Swimming pool area was nice, but lockers seemed broken and the road to the leisure area was wet, including the elevator leading to it.

They gave away our superior room to someone else. We got free parking and breakfast as compensation. Which was will worth it as parking was £24 a night. And you had to pay for electric car charging. At the Celtic Manor it’s free. Digital key cards didn’t initially work. A common modern hotel problem. Coffee was good and so was the mattress. No biscuits in the room. Even the Holiday Inn gives you that.

Lovely hotel, great location. Loved our 4 nights stay. Room was so quiet and the bed was massive, comfy too. Kitchen is so handy with most equipment you need for a basic cooking. The best hotel me and my partner have stayed in years. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Excellent Hotel Staff really friendly and a superb breakfast Well worth the money

The hotel is super stylish and clean. The pool it’s very pleasant. The breakfast was wonderful, good quality food, just the right amount of variety and staff was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Cambridge. It’s a bit outside of the city centre but a 10 minute taxi ride would take you straight into the centre of town.

Vegan options were great at the breakfast! Highly recommend to others who don’t eat animals :)

Amazing stay and such good value for money. The room was spotless, bed was very comfortable and the black out curtains were a welcome addition!

Lovely one night stay. Had the christmas afternoon tea on arrival. Close to the city centre for exploring perfect for us.

Modern, clean, beautiful hotel with really good facilities

Honestly was not a good stay. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again. I was told my booking was cancelled prior to arriving and spent 2 stressful hours trying to figure out was going on. The hotel stated it was Expedia and Expedia said it was hotel (note the hotel told me the hotel is fully booked and was asking me to pay for a room for the hotel next door stating Expedia wouldn’t be able to help- very odd). Check in was mayhem at 4pm- no rooms were released before hand so everyone was waiting in the foyer. Details were taken at check in that weren’t properly recorded leading to a letter attached to my car in the car park as well as issues in breakfast. There were no ways offered to make up for all of the stress caused. I don’t usually kick up a fuss and am generally an understanding person. So this frustration is valid. Note: the pool is small but clean. Gym is clean and has good equipment. The parking is limited and first come first serve. I would check local roads to park if you choose to book. But it’s really not worth the money.

The check in process was shambolic which spoilt the overall experience. The room wasn’t ready at 4pm (despite having 5 hours to turn it around), so we were moved to another room which was inferior to the one I booked and paid for. No apology. The parking was also ridiculously expensive at £24 per night; its not London. On check out we were not asked how the stay was just hustled out of the building. On the plus side the hotel decor is nice and the rooms clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also good.

Spent two nights here, was perfect location for us to walk into town and explore, nice big rooms and clean hotel.

Lovely stay! Second visit and would always pick this luxury Hotel first
