The Grafton Arms Pub & Rooms

We stayed at the Grafton for a full week and it was great! Spacious room, comfortable bed and quiet. We were at the front of the building so there was a little noise Friday and Saturday nights from the surrounding bars and restaurants but nothing unexpected for a large city

The Good: room was quite nice and well equipped, pub downstairs had good food and drinks, very gracious of them to let us have a very early (9am) check-in without pay. Night porter was kind (see below). The place has lots of charm. The Bad: We stayed for 3 nights, and didn't have our room cleaned even once. On the first day, a few hours after chekcing in, a service lady tried to open the door while we were in it, probably to clean (a clean room). Luckily we dobule locked. The other days nobody bothered to go in and clean. Because reception is occupied mainly during the pub working hours (while we were mostly out exploring), we also didn't have anyone to complain to in the morning. Worst part was that by the third day we didn't have any body-wash or shampoo left. We had to call the night porter to get some for us. He did, after about 20 mins, which was nice of him, but clearly the whole situation was upsetting. Also, our room was on the 4th floor (no lift), but we didn't mind that too much. Yet, we couldn't get the safe to work and hated to get someone up 4 floors to check it... In total, probably the lack of desk service in the mornings or late evenings is problematic, to say the least. Is something goes wrong, it's not easy to get it sorted.

A lovely place to stay. Close to lots, yet nice and quiet. The room was a lovely size. Great value. Comfortable bed. Great modern and clean bathroom. The host who checked us in was super friendly too. Would defo stay again.

We loved our time here! The limited number of rooms and the pub downstairs gave this stay so much charm. The room itself was large and felt updated while keeping enough of the original feel. It was about a 2 minute walk to Warren St tube station (can't really beat that too much). It's true, the stairs do have a narrow walk way (as listed and to be expected) but something to keep in mind if you are unable to carry luggage up multiple flights as there is no lift. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay, good location. The staff were welcoming and efficiently, service provide good and the room was large and ckmfortable. There were plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy walk into the theatre district and within walking distance of Euston Station. Lots of nice extra touches to make our stay perfect. Highly recommended

This is a wonderful spot in a very central part of London ... the rooms are so quiet in spite of a pub and roof terrace, which speaks to some incredible sound proofing. The Asian food in pub looked great but didn't have time to try. Lovely

Lovely spacious room

Very nice room in a pleasant pub. Staff were outstanding.

I loved our room it had a nice size bed and it was spacious. It included large fluffy towels, robes and slippers and a nice hair dryer. Staff was great!

This pub only has 11 rooms. I booked one with king size bed (smaller than a king size) but still comfortable. We had trouble operating the AC, so we need to open the window. That is not a good solution since it is noisy on the street. The staff helped us with the AC on the following day. The location is convenient, only about 5 minutes walk to Warren Street underground.

The room was fine. But I was on the 3rd floor (UK— 4th for US guests) with no lift, narrow stairs and stair lights that were apparently on motion sensors but did not go on immediately, briefly leaving me in darkness as I left my room.

The staff there were so helpful. The room was large, a little noisy as it faced the street but 3-4 blocks from the tube station, and there were bars/restaurants close. 20 minute jaunt to Regent's Park well worth it.

The only issue was a small shower other than that a fantastic hotel

Great little boutique style hotel/pub. Really nice outdoor terrace and very welcoming staff. Great value food was on offer that we really enjoyed. A nice quiet part of London and great to walk around in. Very close to Warren St Underground station.

The staff was always very helpful and kind. The room had been updated and was very clean and cozy. The area is clean and close to bus and underground, and there are many restaurants in the area. I would stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay in London! Close to public transportation options and Regent's Park. The pub/inn atmosphere is very cozy and feels like a very authentic British experience. Staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. Just be prepared that there are lots of narrow stairways and the building is older so you can hear your neighbors a little bit, but it we didn't personally feel this was an issue. The manager was very communicative and accommodating both before and during our stay. and the food at the pub was wonderful. 10/10 will stay again on our next trip to London!

Amazing place to stay. Clean, quiet, wonderful staff. Rooms are well stocked with nespresso, cookies, chocolate, robe, slippers and chips- every day. Lots of restaurants near by, supermarkets, and the pubs food I incredible. Beds are very comfortable. Close to public transportation and walkable to other attractions.
