Fantastic service and very friendly staff. We were really well looked after. There were always staff available in the bar/ eatery asking if we needed anything - rare ( but very welcome in these days of minimal staffing). Nothing was too much trouble! A delightful stay in a great location

Lovely stay, room was great, staff were fab. Corridors need some refurbishment in places (which is happening). Only drawback was a connecting door in our room, which meant we could hear everything from next door. But we loved our stay overall.

Generally very dated and old carpets.
Lifts did not work and had to walk up to 5th floor with suitcases and each time we went to the room. No help from staff.
Room refurbished but bathroom had no heating at all. Not even the towel rail.
Lounge areas cold too.

Amazing hotel - stayed in a Junior Suite with Balcony so I had a view of the sea. Room was a great size with all the amenities needed - I would have liked a bath but this is not enough of a downside to rate this stay as anything less then 5 stars.
There is an issue with the lifts at the time of my visit so it meant that there was a large delay in them arriving, but as the hotel is going through refurbishments i'm sure this is being addressed.
As a Solo Traveller I did find that the staff in the lounge didn't approach me to take an order as they assumed "I was waiting for someone else" so I would recommend training the staff that women do have a glass of wine alone to read a book in 2025, but other then this the staff were friendly and professional

Every thing was excellent parking £40 a night but greeted by very friendly helpful butlers dressed in bowler hats Rupert bare trousers. Very cool. I figured if i had not driven and caught the train it would have worked out very expensive .
Had a lovely meal in the cyan restaurant and a wonderful weekend. The weather was crap.but we still got to the lanes shopping and donatellos in the evening. I highly recommend the grand....

This is a lovely hotel with great service and it is close to a lot of the things that one would want to do and see in Brighton (the Beach, The Lanes). We pulled up to the valet for a restful stay and nice dinner and when we left, they had the bags in our car ready to go. The restaurant staff are amazing too!

This hotel is just beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and so very helpful. The food is amazing and the bar area is just so lovely. I’ve stayed here several times and will always book this hotel when I’m in Brighton.

Our room looked brand new and was very spacioud and comfortable.
Loved having a fridge in the room.
Drinks at the bar are a rreat. Had the best cocktail I've had in ages - Tiramisu Martini. Delicious!

Considering this is one of Brightons 'flagship' hotels, we were a little undewhelmed. Service in the bar was very slow and unpersonal. Then, when we went to bed there was an awful vibrating coming from the wall at the head of the bed. We asked to change rooms for the night, which we did, but no mention of this was made when we checked out. Overall we were rather disappointed with our stay

Generally a good clean and safe place to day next to the seaside. The issue is the rather less than friendly front of house. Maybe it’s the abrupt nature and delivery of conversation that marked me , but for this price one expects a more pleasant service. London prices but maybe not London service
