We we loved are staying our grandkids especially shout out to mark the barman that help our grandson contact to his switch the staff were so friendly

Staff lovely as always! Cleanliness wasn’t to the usual high standard, bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, bath was dirty and there was toothpaste inside the glasses.

Quick friendly check in. Nice size room on ground floor. Nice& clean 5 minute walk through arches to plenty of shops, supermarkets, pubs, Wetherspoons. Perfect location for the wedding we attended

Very average, but worn room. Made welcome enough at check in, but saw almost no other staff during our stay. Bar service was slow, ended up eating outside of the hotel. Did I mention the room was very average at best. Mattress was soft and of uncertain quality in my estimation.

Receptionist Laura checked us in she was very helpful & professional, I had requested decaf teabags which she gave me. Our twin room was not very warm I did turn the radiator up full the hallway to our room was really cold, I would like to suggest that the blue cushions be taken away as they are covered in horrible stains, my friend had the room next door & they where the same, the bathroom handwash basin is a terrible design there is no control when the water comes out of the faucet, I got soaked trying to wash my hands. The restaurant was very nice I enjoyed my meal, service and staff very friendly overall a pleasant stay

We come here for an overnighter every year at the beginning of December and we are never disappointed. That is why we come back. Its a great place to spend time in this lovely Market Town just before Christmas especially if you visit on a Christmas Market Day. Thanks again, sec you next year.

Hotel looked very nice, and most of the staff were nice until breakfast when some snotty lady came over with the “who are you? Are you a resident” in a not so friendly manner.
Also the shower must have been installed by a 3ft person because it was a fixed rainfall head and i am only 5ft 9 and the shower head was fixed at nose level, very weird. Other than that it was OK
