Nice and friendly staff and a good old fashioned bar area where you can have a nice chat near a nice warm log burner . And very good food

Out of 5 hotels/pubs stayed in this week the breakfast @ the white swann was by far the best both in terms of quality and service !

A very pleasant one night stay on the way back to Aberdeenshire. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, was clean and well equipped with the staff very friendly. The evening meal was tasty and well priced - can recommend the chicken and brie burger, whilst the cooked breakfast was lovely and worth the wait. Thanks for a great stay - would return without hesitation. (And next time it won't be a 'dry-January'!)

A nice little room for an overnight stay while on the way to Scotland, with an excellent breakfast included in the price. The rooms could do with a bit of decor, though, and the beds could be a little more comfortable.

Stayed at the White Swan several times before and I always try to book in when in the area. It's a very homely little hotel, the staff are lovely and the cooked breakfast is an excellent way to get your day started. There's a country pub as well, which is great for a few drinks in the evening.

Beautiful place, quiet rooms, comfortable, warm, great facilities, absolutely wonderful staff. Best meal I’ve had in months too!

Very friendly staff and clean and comfortable

Was looking for a hotel near Lindisfarne. This one was well reviewed and was close enough for us. We were called before travelling that the chef was ill but given alternatives for eating in the evening. This wasn't a problem as we had only booked breakfast. The room was clean comfortable and cosy with a large clean bathroom. Peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast was superb and extremely filling. Staff were all polite and helpful. All in all lovely hotel in a lovely village. Would go back again.

Chris made us feel very at home. Lovely big room and en-suite. The bar was cosy and a good selection of drinks. We had a good meal in the restaurant and breakfast was plentiful.

Excellent staff and fantastic food ,

The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Despite being fully booked for dinner, they managed to fit us in and the service and food were both excellent.

A lovely spot, handy for the cycling routes with a nice friendly bar and excellent food.

It's a good hotel - the rooms are comfortable and clean and breakfast and dinner are tasty.
