We have stayed here 2 years ago and where impressed, sadly not this time we booked a king and got 2 single beds. This was remedied straight away but the view we wanted and got with the first room was disappointing. Also the bed was not comfortable we ended up with back ache.

Check-in was advertised as 3pm however it was nearly 5:30 pm by the time we were able access our room. This meant we were rushing to get changed to go back out with bookings made for dinner.

This was our second time staying in the Wilde and both have been very positive experiences. The rooms are clean, beds and shower are comfortable, internet is good and the TV is very easy to set up for streaming from a device. The staff were also very kind and helpful when we had any requests.

What a great idea. I loved the freedom to have my own mini apartment for a few days while staying in manchester. The location is great with perfect transport access and loads of food options.
As for the room it was clean with everything you need staff were very helpful with getting me fresh towels and for a busyy hotel it was very quiet at nights.
All in all a great stay and i will definitely use again.

Great location, but hotel not as we expected - very basic and badly designed. For example no cleaning service and no linen change unless staying over 6 nights. They wont even empty the bins / recycling. There is a Nespresso machine in the room, but you need to bring your own Nespresso capsules as they are not supplied (although teabags are).
There is a small round table but it’s in the darkest corner of the room so you can’t work / write / read there.
Bed is against the wall so one person needs to climb over the to get in and out, and there is nowhere to put a glass of water. Bathroom is TINY and should have been built with a sliding door but they took the cheaper option so you need to be a size zero to squeeze inside past the door.

Excellent stay
Very disappointed with check in as the hotel double charged me for my 3 night stay and didn’t even apologise. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.
