This brilliant hotel rescued me when I was stranded in Reims when the last TGV out of town was cancelled. The staff were utterly brilliant in looking after me.
I wasn’t prepared for an overnight stay and they provided all the toiletries that I needed. And an iPhone charger. Because it was late, the bar was no longer serving food, so one of the receptionists helped me find some dinner from the kitchen. All through, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and kind.
I was a bit traumatised by the late change to my travel plans, but this hotel made me feel really at home. The breakfast the next morning was really lovely too. Thank you so much.

Easy to find, quiet, safe spacious parking (we had a bike rack), friendly staff, comfy bed.
Hotel food limited but looked nice. Local restaurants were probably a tram ride or car journey away. Lovely free hot drinks. Nice bar. Good breakfast. Our air conditioning was a bit noisy but we didn’t really need it!

Good value for money, convenient for a trip south. Rooms were very comfortable, clean and ideal for a family. The coffee machine in the reception along with the water dispenser were a brilliant bonus… would definitely stay again.

We had a great time.Room were clean,decent size and quiet so we had a good night sleep.Very good breakfast with different foods and drinks.Staff extremely friendly and helpful.Our children even got a small present on leaving (colouring pad and sunglasses) that they loved.Secure and safe parking on site without the need to pay for it additionally.Overall a excellent stay-really recommend it!

Don’t worry that it’s not in the middle of Reims. If you’re driving you don’t want to be there anyway.

Very clean. Staff was excellent…. Friendly and very helpful. Not close to downtown, but we were en route to another destination, so that wasn’t a requirement for us. 10 minute drive to see the cathedral before leaving. Nice dining area in the evening for a light dinner and morning breakfast. We were driving a plug-in hybrid, so having a charging station was an added bonus. We will use this chain again if the opportunity arises.

I've been at Akena for one night only while travelling from Alps to London. Very comfortable hotel simple but clean, with very friendly staff. Room of decent size, and also very quiet. Easy to reach from the motorway. Parking is gated at night that it is an important fact if you travel with a lot of luggage that remains in the car. Also in just over 10 min, you can reach by car the Cathedral. I'll use it again if I need it. Highly recommended.
