Traveling with a car in France is difficult if one wants to stay in the center of town yet have a safe place to park. This hotel has BOTH! And it is a nice hotel to boot. My only complaint is that when I returned to Chartres, it was full.

We arrived late in Chartres but the reception was friendly, courteous and professional. A very nice lady provided us with the information we needed.

Excellent hotel with beautiful view of Chartre cathedral. Parking for a fee. Hotel should clearly state directions and instructions for parking, which is ample but tight and accessed through a gate.

All was very good for the hotel, but very bad for the car hire because there is no Avis office at the station ... So no car to go with !!! 😢😢😢 (The car who was paid !)
